Best vacation ever August 2015

10 Day Taste Of Scotland & Ireland

Best vacation EVER!!! The locations and landscapes were breathtaking. There is beauty everywhere in both countries. The hotels, meals and attractions were top notch. The very best part of the tour was our driver/ tour director, John Greene. His charming personality and incredible knowledge made the trip an even more wonderful experience. We can not say enough positive things about him! John took very good care of all 38 of us and kept the tour running smoothly. We loved exploring the lands and embracing the cultures and all the experiences were great! We can't wait to go on our next tour! We also like to thank Annika Norstorm- our Scottish Tour guide- she was fabulous! Read more

Walking Connection is your best sourceIf you are looking for walking adventure travel August 2015

Cork and Kerry Ireland Walking Tour

I met JoAnn and Gene Taylor years ago right after they conceived the idea of Walking Connection and started the program. I knew from the start they are special, caring people who want to make a difference in people's lives by helping them be more active and healthier. Walking consistently will do will the Connections we make as we walk and travel together.

My husband and I traveled with Gene and JoAnn several times. Our favorite trip was to Ireland where the weather was perfect and the sights were thrilling.

We moved to Virginia in the late 90s but have kept the connection and friendship with this very special couple.

If you are looking for walking adventure travel, the Walking Connection is your best source. The trips are well planned, the walks are Taylored to everyone's level of comfort, the destinations are often only available through the Walking Connection and your traveling companions are fun loving and full of life.

Overall this was a very pleasant experience and trip. October 2018

Discover Wales

We left London and travelled through the Cotswolds toward Aberystwyth, our destination for two nights. We stayed at the very comfortable and centrally located Bodalwyn Guest House B&B (scrumptious breakfast). For the next two days we toured the Welsh countryside to places such as Beddgelert, Harlech Castle, New Quay, Llandeilo, Laugharne (Dylan Thomas home). St. Davids arriving at Tenby and staying at the centrally located Myrtle House Hotel for two nights. Both Aberystwyth and Tenby had good choices of restaurants within easy walking distance. Also visited castle ruins in the Tenby and Llandeilo areas and toured seaside areas. On return to London we visited St. Fagans Natural History Museum outside Cardiff and toured the restored Cardiff waterfront .Our Driver / Guide John was safe, excellent and very knowledgeable and humorous. The 16 passenger bus was very comfortable and perfect for off the beaten path forays. Read more
