Valerie is committed to making traveling an essential part of the rest of her life. Her father was born in Germany and passed on his curious and adventurous nature. She visited different parts of Germany throughout her childhood, and again recently this past year. Her sister spent the last two years living between Los Angeles, Hong Kong and London.
Valerie was born and raised in Los Angeles, but recently returned from living in Madrid, Spain for 6 months. While in Europe, she visited 9 different countries including Ireland, Portugal, France, Germany, Czech Republic and Austria. Valerie’s desire to travel doesn’t end with just Europe, she has also explored China, Japan and Thailand before the age of 18! Her next dream trip is to explore the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil.
Her favorite trips are those in which she pushed herself to try new things and be spontaneous. This has included getting a world tattoo in Madrid, traveling the Czech Republic and Austria solo, and trying as much local Spanish cuisine as possible!
Most brag-worthy trip: Taking a train from Madrid to Barcelona where I attended an amazing 3 day music festival on the beach, spoke Spanish during the entire trip, sipped on wine while taking in views from Park Güell and ate tapas for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
