The entire experience was fantastic and our guide (Luisa) was BEYOND awesome! The communication from HQ in the UK could've been better but things worked out pretty much as they stated. I feel very lucky that we got the guide we did. Travelling through New Zealand and having a Maori woman regale us with traditional stories and experiences really added to the authenticity of the experience. She was also funny and personable. It would have been great if she had more freedom to take us to random places that were in addition to the itinerary.
The trip it self felt comprehensive and made me want to go back for more. Not only that, but my fellow travelers also said that Explore is one of their go to tour groups; so now it will be mine too :-)
