Wheelchair Travel Itineraries

I've traveled to Europe several times before but not like this. Thanks to Kelley and her amazing knowledge and patience with all my queries, my famiy and I enjoyed a customized itinerary filled with a food tour in Paris and a cooking lesson in Naples, history and art lessons at the British Museum and Musee D'Orsay, with enough time to travel independently and make new discoveries with less hassle than before. I absolutely recommend the Relaxed Explorer to anyone looking to make memorable trips with their families that will be cherished by all. Thank you so much Kelley!! Kelley at The Relaxed Explorer has been the BEST travel agent I have ever used. Most people think they don't need a travel agent for vacations they put together themselves. I am not one of those people. The many travel agents I have used in the past have ranged in a grade from B+ to F. Kelley however is an A++. I will never use another travel agent again for anything. She is so patient, completely fine with changes of dates and places to stay. Never pushes her agenda. And in fact, in 2020 she booked an entire 30 day Europe vacation for me only to have me call and cancel the entire thing due to COVID. She was so understanding and got all my pre-paid $ back from hotels, etc. I called Kelley a few months ago and asked if she was willing to rebook an entirely new vacation for us this year and she said, "Of course." Once again, she never pushed any hotels or guided tours on me, she just booked what I suggested, helped me think through my ideas, and was amazing organizing the best way to plan the trip with the shortest travel times from place to place. . . .

When I called her in June, I told her I was considering changing the dates from late July to early September due to COVID still affecting Europe!!! ... With a completely open-minded attitude and the patience of a Saint she began to switch all the dates AGAIN, helped me find alternative hotels for the ones that were already booked for the September dates, was on hold with Delta for literally 6 hours changing the flights because they wouldn't let her change the flights for free online. Amazing.

More problems arose. Delta cancelled our non-stop flight to Dublin. No worries, Kelley was on the phone for ANOTHER 6 hours, took care of switching the flight again, this time to Barcelona, and was able to do it with no Delta cancelation fee. She dealt with problems with humor and a patience over and over.

~ I could understand her begrudgingly doing these things for a best friend, but we've never met. I don't even know what she looks like! I just know that when you find the best travel agent on the planet you look no further.

Whether you want a packaged tour, or just want to plan your own vacation the way you want it to be, with no one pushing you on the other end for the commissions, or to make it easier for them -- use Kelley.

If there are other travel agents out there as good as her, I have not heard of them. Honestly, I've used many over the last 30 years of traveling. I'm not sure they exist.

We could not recommend Gazelle Adventures enough! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience that we had with the Gazelle team. Chriss is a fantastic owner, he personally looked after all of our needs. Abe was an absolute pleasure to work with, emailing for months to put our trip together.

Our team who got us up Mount Kilimanjaro, lead by Prosper and Martin, were so great. It was by far one of the best experiences both Mark and I have had. We summited on my 30th birthday and the team surprised me with a cake and bubbles. We had a 15min party on top of Africa and it is something we will never forget.

After kili we did a 6 day safari lead by our fantastic guide Deo. We learnt so much from him and saw some amazing sightings. Tarangire National park, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. All the park so beautiful and well worth a visit

I had wanted for some time to praise the wonderful job one of your agents-Kelley Pearson did in arranging our Europa Tour. Of course, that tour has to be moved because of the Corona plague.
I contacted Kelley; and she was very eager to help us reschedule our tour intact for sometime in August or September. This is the first time I've been able to go when I didn't have a group of students and parents with me, as I taught German and Spanish for 43 years. Unfortunately, with the cartels, Mexico is no longer and option; but I personally prefer Europe with its rich culture and history. Of all the travel agents with whom I have worked over the course of 45 years, Kelley Pearson is head and shoulders above all the rest. I hope you will give her accolades for the great job she has done. No matter what the situation she has been friendly, helpful, and kind. My hat is off to travel agents like Kelley!

Kelly was a pleasure to work with. She put together a custom tour for my family of 5 to Italy for our nephew's wedding. We visited Milan, Venice, Florence, Tuscany, and Rome. She took care of our transportation between the city's we visited, booked awesome hotels and scheduled private tours for my family. Everything was just perfect!

It is really hard to play a trip when you are traveling with someone that is disabled. My sister’s and I travel a lot and seem to have issues everywhere we go. We knew Europe would be a challenger as they do not have the same accessibility laws. Kelley made sure that all our requirements were met. She is truly as asset to The Relaxed Explorer. We will definitely contact her for our next trip.
