Day 1: Nice
Accommodation: France, Nice - Hotel La Persoue
Welcome to beautiful Provence: bounded geographically by the Rhône River, the Alps, the Italian border and the Mediterranean Sea and which has inspired so many artists over the centuries. On arrival, be transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Nice – Monte Carlo – Èze - Nice

Today, enjoy an excursion to the city of Monte Carlo and principality of Monaco. Visit the casino and the sovereign Prince’s Palace with entrance to the State Apartments. The afternoon provides some leisure time, before returning to Nice via the hilltop village of Èze to absorb its magnificent views to the sea. The evening is at your leisure to perhaps stroll the charming narrow streets of Nice’s old town.
Day 3: Nice – Grasse - St Paul-De-Vence – Nice

Depart for Grasse, the world’s perfume capital that produces two-thirds of France’s natural aromas for perfume and food flavourings. Excite your senses with a visit to Parfumerie Galimard, the oldest Perfumery in France, established in 1747. Tour the factory and participate in an exclusive workshop to create your own fragrance. Continue to Saint-Paul-de-Vence, one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera, with its picturesque alleyways, shops and galleries. Enjoy time to explore the town and perhaps visit Fondation Maeght before returning to Nice.
Day 4: Nice – Aix-En-Provence

Depart for the enchanting town of Aix-en-Provence, initially founded as a Roman settlement in 23BC that later became the capital of the region from where the Counts of Provence ruled. On arrival, visit Cezanne’s Studio, before enjoying the rest of the day to stroll the old town and explore its quaint shops or relax in one of its celebrated spas, fed by natural hot springs.
Day 5: Aix-En-Provence – St Rémy – Les Baux – Aix-En-Provence

Today explore two of the best villages in Provence. Visit Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, one of the oldest towns in France and which attracted artists, painters and musicians toward the end of the 19th century. The town is also the birthplace of Nostradamus. Enjoy a guided tour of Saint-Paul de Mausole, the former Asylum where Van Gogh completed 150 paintings as a self-admitted patient, before strolling the charming historic centre. Afterward, continue to Les Baux-de-Provence with its spectacular position perched high in the Alpilles mountains. Visit the Citadel to explore the amazing 12th century Chateaux and village carved into limestone rock and enjoy entry to the unique multi-media exhibition in the former quarry used to build the village. Afterward, stroll the old town before returning to Aix-en-Provence for an evening at your leisure.
Day 6: Aix-En-Provence – Avignon

This morning, visit the UNESCO World Heritage listed Pont du Gard - a stunning aqueduct limestone bridge built in the
1st century AD. Stroll the bridge and riverbank in full view of this amazing engineering marvel. Afterward, depart for the short drive to historical Avignon. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy this delightful town.
Day 7: Avignon

This morning, meet your local guide for a sightseeing tour that includes a visit to the Papal Palace - home to several popes during the 14th century, which boasts cavernous halls, beautiful grounds and one of the largest Gothic palaces in the World. The historic centre, which includes the Papal Palace, the cathedral and the medieval Pont d’Avignon bridge are UNESCO World Heritage Listed. Enjoy the afternoon to stroll around at your leisure.
Day 8: Avignon – Nice
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, you may remain in Avignon for further exploration or be transferred to Nice airport for your onward journey.
