What's this trip about?

The Everest Base Camp Luxury Lodge Trek is one of the grandest treks in the world. It is an unparalleled opportunity to trek in the Himalayas with some of Nepal’s comfortable and secure lodges, exquisite cuisine and the Sherpa community welcoming the trekkers warmly.  The trekking path between luxurious lodges of the Everest region takes you via beautiful Nepalese villages with impressive views of the Khumbu and Everest region. The trip also includes acclimatization and a cultural trek into the Sherpa heartland of the Khumbu Valley. Enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Himalayan range near the Khumbu region with four of the world's six tallest peaks of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, and Cho Oyu rising above everything in view. The trek further provides an immense opportunity to survey around the world heritage site of the Sagarmatha National Park which hosts a variety of Himalayan flora and fauna and to explore the highest Buddhist monasteries in the world. The trek begins with a sightseeing tour in Kathmandu followed by an exciting mountain flight to Lukla. It is a steep ascent from Lukla to Namche Bazaar, the capital of the Sherpas.  Here, you will be greeted by spectacular mountain vistas.  We continue our trek following the trail to a famous vantage point, Kala Patthar, which offers a marvelous 360-degree panorama of the Himalayas. After achieving our target of Everest Base Camp, we trek back down to Lukla for a return flight to Kathmandu.
