How We Work
We know best how to match travelers up with the very best accommodations that suit their budget. BUT that is only one part of the equation. It’s the little details (things that many travelers don’t even know are possible) that we are great at including in our travelers’ trips. We don’t usually give out our little secrets, but to give you a sneak peak of what we may offer – a private dinner on a barge in the middle of the Zambezi River is one of our all-time favorites. But no more said on this now as we rather not spoil what we love to do for you!
Our First Phone Call
We always start with a phone call and a blank slate. The goal of our first conversation is to get to know you. We will ask you questions about your travel style, where you have travelled in the past, your specific interests and your intended budget for your safari. After we have worked through this process we will both have a better idea if we are a good fit.
Getting Down to Business
At this stage we find out if you have a specific trip you are interested in and set travel dates. We offer our advice on the best locations depending on when you are planning to go, the best months to travel, and continue to narrow down your options to specific areas and dates. At this point, if you decide you would like us to plan your trip, we then proceed with obtaining more specific information and collect an upfront non-refundable deposit of USD $200* which will be applied towards your trip.

Cotapaxi – 2 Days
Head into Cotapaxi National Park, home to the magnificent Cotapaxi Volcano rising some 4 ½ miles above sea level. Travel along valleys and plains with their multicolored fields as your guide explains the local Andean culture and natural history.
Excursions include easy horseback riding, bicycling, a ropes course, hiking, visiting a rose plantation, exploring Lake Limpiopungo, cooking lessons at your lodge, and a trip to Quilotoa Lake, one of the most beautiful volcano lakes in the Ecuadorian Andes!
Overnight at Hacienda El Porvenir

Anakonda Amazon Riverboat – 4 Days
This extension will require a flight to Coca (one hour), followed by canoe transfer to the M/V Anakonda. Throughout the cruise, you will have a chance to admire the rainforest landscape and banks of the great Napo River, complete with land excursions, amazon forest walks, canoe trips, and a visit to the Sani Warmi Kichwa Interpretation Center, where a group of Kichwa women will speak of their customs, cuisine and everyday life.

Napo Wildlife Center, Amazon Rainforest – 4 Days
The Napo Wildlife Center is a secluded eco lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon. During your time here, you will be able to see wildlife like heron, kingfisher, osprey, monkeys, otters and hopefully even more elusive species. Days are generally split into optional morning and afternoon activities. These include forest hikes, local community visits, canoeing, and wildlife viewing, all accompanied by a wealth of knowledge shared by your expert guide every step of the way!
Overnight at Napo Wildlife Center

Explore the hip city of Lima, the towns and markets of the Sacred Valley, the artistic and architecturally unique city of Cusco and the iconic Inca fortress of Machu Picchu.
