Tanzania Joy Tours staffing procedures are entirely unique. Allocation of work to our guides, cooks and porters is strictly on the basis of merit, continued performance and positive feedback from our clients.
Each department has the same command structure, with the head of department providing the link between staff and management and ensuring that all comply with the rules and operations run smoothly. Many of the staff members were born in Moshi and Arusha – they have been part of Mountain Climbing and safari family for a very long time.
We have been to all these destinations – Tanzania is a country we love and know extremely well.
Our safari vehicles
At Tanzania Joy Tours, your safety and comfort on safari is very important. You spend hours traveling and game viewing in one of our new Safari Cruisers. Each one is custom designed with an extra large photographic roof hatch, extra dust proofing, comfortable seats with seat belts and canvas covers, first aid kits, binoculars, a selection of field guides and a cooler stocked with bottles of mineral water supplied by Tanzania Joy Tours at no additional cost.
Every Safari Cruiser carries a maximum of six passengers so that every passenger is guaranteed a window seat and access to the photographic roof hatch at all times during the safari. Tanzania Joy Tours vehicle is equipped with a long range radio system linked to office and to different safari drivers.
All of our Safari vehicles are equipped with

- Radio calls/cell phones
The most important aspect of a safari with us is our driver guides. You will spend a lot of time with them and therefore it is essential that they get on well with you. Our driver’s guides are all handpicked and are very friendly, cheerful, experienced, and knowledgeable about the parks and animals.
We would like to think of it in terms of them adopting you as their family for the time they are with you.
Every Safari Cruiser is serviced after each safari, and sold after just two years of service, usually to another safari company.
