What to do on your Alsace Vacation
Day trips:
Strasbourg (home to the European Parliament and one of France’s most cosmopolitan cities), Black Forest in Germany (just over an hour’s drive), Mulhouse (town with second most museums in all of France), Basel, just across the border is one of Switzerland’s most sophisticated cities and all the fairy-tale villages along the Route des Vins (wine road)
Sightseeing:
The majestic pink sandstone cathedral in Strasbourg, Petite Venise (“little Venice”) neighborhood in Colmar, Ecomusée in Ungersheim, the beautifully restored Haut-Koenigsbourg castle. Nestled at the base of a vineyard and boasting excellent views of the Alsatian countryside from the outdoor patio, the Gewuerztraminer apartment is conveniently located along the famous Wine Road.
Hansi: Hunawihr
Tucked away in the center of Hunawihr, in the heart of Alsatian wine country, the Hansi apartment treats guests to a lovely homebase from which to visit the surrounding countryside as well as Hunawihr's famous Stork Reintroduction Center and Butterfly Park.

Cancellation policy
- If Untours is notified more than 70 days prior to arrival in the first apartment, the following will be forfeited: $250 of each of your $400 deposits. If Untours has issued tickets on flights approved by you, your entire deposit will be forfeited.
- If Untours is notified 70 days or less and 35 days or more prior to arrival in the first apartment, the following will be forfeited: $250 of each of your $400 deposits; cancellation fees for any flight tickets, transportation passes or rail tickets purchased for you by Untours; and 25 percent of the Untour fee. If you cancel 70-35 days prior to arrival in the first apartment, but have not paid in full, Untours will keep your deposit until payment is made as described above.
- If Untours is notified 34 days or less and 3 days or more before arrival, the following will be forfeited: $250 of each of your $400 deposits; cancellation fees for any flight tickets, transportation passes or rail tickets purchased for you by Untours; and 50 percent of the Untour fee. If you cancel 34-3 days prior to arrival in the first apartment, but have not paid in full, Untours will keep your deposit until payment is made as described above.
- If Untours is notified of a cancellation 2 days or less before arrival, all trip costs are non-refundable.

unforeseen circumstances such as medical expenses, trip cancellations, and other contingencies.
