Our group gelled very well and the whole adventure was great fun. Highly recommended Our tour leader Ruxi was very informative and had a friendly and professional manner. The highlight for us was to see brown bears in the wild but we also really enjoyed the castles and spectacular scenery. A few minor concerns... If anything the itinerarary was a bit too ambitious- holiday traffic meant that the journey to Transylvania took longer than expected and this meant that the hike was shunted out- a disappointment. We added an extra day to explore more of Bucharest before the trip and found this to be very worthwhile. The accommodation is rather basic but ok. We spent little time in it so it didn't really matter. We were taken to some very good restaurants in the evenings where we ate as a group and Ruxi divided up the bill with practiced efficiency."
