"A fantastic trip. The order worked well, with the relaxing Nile cruise right in the middle where we needed it. Having the last day climax with Valley of the Kings was perfect. I really enjoyed the inclusion of Medinet Habu; I was not aware of this temple but it was stunning and all the more enjoyable for feeling like our secret, as barely anyone else was there. I took the opportunity to do the additional trips to Saqqara and Islamic Cairo, both of which were worthy of inclusion in the itinerary. I also squeezed in a visit to Luxor temple. I was grateful of the two home cooked meals that were included. Aside from being delicious they made a welcome break from the tourist-food elsewhere (and an opportunity to have some vegetables!). The food on the Nile cruise was generic tourist fare but the rest of the cruise experience was lovely. I would suggest offering those travelling in pairs the option to pay extra to get a room each on the overnight train as it was a struggle to squeeze both us & our luggage in. It would also be worth adding to your trip info the recommendation to take hand luggage for the train as it is nigh on impossible to open a suitcase in the cabin and that would have been so helpful. But all in all… pyramids, temples, and tombs - what’s not to love!"
