"It was a very eventful itinerary that allowed us to see 8 countries in two weeks. The tour was very fast paced in order to accomplish the advertised program and it felt rushed. In order to travel to 8 different European countries, you have to expect that there will be a lot of coach seat/drive time. Our tour guide Jemma and coach driver Gabriel were very professional and focused on meeting Expat Explore’s tour destination requirements. Jemma always provided interesting information and tips about the cities and sites that we were visiting. Our driver Gabriel always got us to our destinations on time and safely. The included and optional excursions were conducted at a moderate to swift walking speed, at some places there was no time to take pictures. Some of us found it difficult to keep up with the group, and once caught up to the group, who were at a stopping/rest point, it was time to resume the walking tour which did not allow some of us to catch our breath. You have to keep in mind that this tour is a “budget” tour. With that in mind, some hotels were sub-standard. The Paris hotel had mold in the shower. As expected, some hotels did not have air-conditioning, and other hotels which did have air conditioning were not adequately able to cool the room. The included tour dinners and lunches were very average. We had better dining experiences when we were left on our own when we used our free time. Overall, we were pleased to see all European countries/cities/sites included in the tour. This review was submitted to Expat Explore to be posted. I believe that Expat Explore only posts 4 and 5 stars reviews on their website which gives a misleading impression of the services they provide."

"Awesome!!! We absolutely loved our tour of ancient Rome. Our guide was fun, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his subject. This experience was highlight of our stay in Rome. My only regret is that we left in a bit of a hurry - my husband's luggage was lost, he was wearing same clothes from travel & uncomfortably hot & anxious to replenish wardrobe - thus, I neglected to tip our guide. I feel terrible as he was so good with our family & kids have been talking about what they learned. If we had more time in the city, I would have arranged for another guided tour of St. Peter's. Please excuse tardy review, my internet connection has not been dependable during the trip. We return to Rome tomorrow for a night before returning to Chicago with wonderful memories. "After an international trip was postponed for a third time due to COVID, my wife and I decided, last minute, to book a trip to Italy. We reached out to three self-drive tour companies, two of which - including VitorItaly - were less than half of the third quote. Ultimately we decided to go with Marcello because of his quote and responsiveness. With only a few weeks to book all of the accommodations and tours, Marcello got everything done and was very communicative throughout. We drove over 2200 km on our trip throughout Italy and Marcello booked a fantastic variety of lodgings: for example a country house near Pienza, a luxury hotel on the lagoon in Venice, and a country estate in Urbino surrounded by an organic farm and vineyard. At an olive oil mill nera Florence, we really enjoyed our time and our large order of fantastic tasting olive oil arrived yesterday. Ughetta was fantastic and gave us a great tour of their facility! Furthermore, while in Italy we could reach out to Marcello via WhatsApp and he continued to be incredibly responsive. Thanks Marcello!"

"We just returned from a two-week trip that took us from Venice, to Parma, to Florence, to Rome, and Sorrento, and we couldn't be happier with the trip set up by everyone at Viandando. After telling them what our interests were, they set up a tour that introduced us to Italy and kept everyone in our group (ranging from grandparents to kids) engaged and excited. All of the guides we had were friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. Although Italy was packed with tourists, Viandando set us up so we never waited in any lines and were able to experience some of the top sites without huge crowds. The hotels we had were all fantastic, offering us great rooms and central locations to explore the city. Our drivers were waiting for us and got us where we needed to be on time! Most importantly, Elena, Eleonora, and Giulia were there for us when plans changed unexpectedly. Our flights were cancelled multiple times and, even though this was totally out of their control, Viandando had our back and was able to make last minute travel changes to help save whatever they could of the days that we lost due to our flights. Their support while we were on the trip was absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for a quality company to set up a first-class trip, you can stop searching--Viandando will get it done for you!"
