What travelers are saying

"Who said you can not enjoy a long Overland Safari? I had a wonderful time during the 7 month Trans Africa. Part of the West cost of Africa was a challenge which I will remember for a long time. The scenery and wildlife from Namibia onwards was breathtaking. The younger generation on the truck gave me the challenge to do things I always was to scared to do in my live. I did tandem skydiving, quad bike riding in the sand dunes, white water rafting on the Zambezi river, bungy jumping of the Victoria Bridge and the micro light flight over the Victoria Falls. Our driver Brian was excellent and a good mate. All in all I can recommend the tour to people who like something more exciting than a standard organised tour. A truly memorable experience of a lifetime."

What travelers are saying

"A Culture Trip curated trip is a must for anyone burnt out planning their own trips or going to a remote or unfamiliar area. Having a local insider was the highlight of the trip. From the moment we landed to the moment we had to go through security to leave, we were completely taken care of. Our insider gave us great recommendations for restaurants and was very adaptable to any situation that arose."

Medina

Highlights

  • Encounter the nomadic tribe of the Sahara once travelled the desert in great numbers, but after invasions and wars they have been reduced to small groups, scattered across the sandy hills of this unforgiving desert.
  • Explore myriad labyrinth of ancient alleys, where artisans hammer, weld, scuplt and, of course, seduce passers by. Our guides will take you directly through this magical, ancient marketplace.
  • Visit Marrakesh, a city steeped in ancient artistry that continues to thrive, including zellij, terra cotta tilework covered with enamel in the form of chips set into plaster. This form of Islamic art is one of the main characteristics of Moroccan architecture.
  • Deep inside the highest dunes in the Sahara lies Erg Chigaga, eight luxury tents, replete with king beds, egyptiancotton and wall to wall kilims; a romantic hideaway with open bar and divine cuisine; Sahara in style.

Morocco Tour Selection Trips

  • You can literally see all four seasons during one week in Morocco
  • From the seas of the coastal town of Essaouira to the desert at Erg Chebbi, you might experience snow flurries, warm breezes, and even be surprised by a rainstorm. This environmental and geographic diversity makes Morocco a beautiful place to visit at any time of year.
  • Although your tour will likely provide guides who speak your native tongue, if you wander out on your own, keep in mind that the population mainly speaks Arabic and French (with some Spanish in the north).

Best Times to Visit Morocco

While there truly isn’t a time when you should not visit Morocco, there are some weather related factors that you should take into account before planning your trip.

During the summer, Morocco can be very hot. When the sun is at its peak, it can reach to the utmost temperature of 100 degrees fahrenheit. Coastal cities are relatively cooler but are still pretty warm. The fall is one of the best times to visit Morocco. It is less crowded and the weather is much more pleasant than the summer months.

Winter, in Morocco, is usually quite cold especially later in the evening. But the skies remain relatively clear with light rain on some days. The spring is another great time to visit. The blooming vegetation accentuates the countryside and the neutral temperatures make walking ideal.
