Day 1 Quito
Arrive at any time.
If you are not able to attend the welcome meeting, our representative will leave all important information at your hotel’s reception indicating what time to be ready the next day.
Booking pre- or post-trip accommodation is highly recommended to fully experience the city and take advantage of the many optional activities available.
Day 2 Quito/San Cristóbal Island
Fly to the Galápagos Islands. Visit the Interpretation Centre in the afternoon to learn about the natural history of the area. Explore the trails around the centre and opt to snorkel at nearby Las Tijeretas.
Day 3 San Cristóbal Island
Snorkel at Kicker Rock, an impressive volcanic rock formation, rich in wildlife diversity both under the surface and above.
Day 4 San Cristóbal Island/Floreana Island
Travel by speedboat to Floreana Island. Walk along the black sand beach until La Lobería with its resident sea lion colony, and go snorkelling from the beach. Enjoy meals at the G Adventures-supported community restaurants and help to support community tourism on the island.
Please note that travel between islands is done by speedboat. The ride can be quite rough, especially from July to December. Make sure to bring sea sickness medication if you are prone to sea sickness.
Day 5 Floreana Island
Head up to the seldom-visited highlands of Floreana. Enjoy guided walks to observe birds and other wildlife and learn about the area's natural history. Later, opt to go snorkelling or relax on the white-sand beach.
Day 6 Floreana Island/Isabela Island
Transfer by speedboat to Isabela Island. In the afternoon, take a wildlife boat excursion to 'Islote Tintoreras' to view breeding white-tip reef sharks, marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, rays, and penguins. Later, visit the Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre.
Day 7 Isabela Island/Santa Cruz Island
Enjoy free time to explore Isabela Island. Opt to hike Sierra Negra, go snorkelling at Los Tuneles, or take it easy. In the afternoon, transfer by speedboat to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Enjoy an evening out in Puerto Ayora.

Day 8 Santa Cruz Island/Papallacta
Say goodbye to the Islands and take a flight back to the mainland. Upon arrival, transfer to Papallacta.
Day 9 Papallacta
Relax in the hot springs of Papallacta while taking in the volcanic views. Opt to go for a hike nearby for prime birdwatching.
Day 10 Papallacta
Depart at any time.
Papallacta is located roughly 35 minutes from the Mariscal Sucre International airport in Quito. The lodge can assist in booking a taxi for you.

Day 3: The Galapagos Islands

Transfer to the airport for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival in the Islands you will be met and taken to your boat for the start of your cruise.
Day 4: The Galapagos Islands

Today will be spent exploring Isabela Island. Lava herons are often spotted in the mangroves here, as are sea lions and Galapagos penguins. There is an optional snorkel and swim: white-tipped reef sharks often come to rest in the shallow waters. In the afternoon you'll hike to the Sierra Negra and Chino volcanoes, exploring how the landscape has been shaped by volcanic activity.
Day 5: The Galapagos Islands
Accommodation options: Galapagos Odyssey, Casa Opuntia & Floreana Lava Lodge
Today you'll explore Isabela Island further, journeying to the mangroves and lakes on the north coast which are a haven for birdlife. In the afternoon you'll take a Zodiac trip around Elizabeth Bay. Wildlife commonly seen here includes sea turtles, spotted eagle rays and flightless cormorants.
Day 6: The Galapagos Islands
Accommodation options: Galapagos Odyssey, Casa Opuntia & Floreana Lava Lodge
This morning you'll explore Fernandina Island, which has the largest population of marine iguanas in the Galapagos. Later you'll take a Zodiac tour of Tagus Cove on Isabela island, keeping an eye out for Galapagos penguins, and take a short but steep hike up the cliff side for great views over the island and some nearby volcanoes.
Day 7: The Galapagos Islands

Today you'll visit Santiago Island, with optional snorkeling and kayaking around a beach that's a nesting site for marine turtles.
Day 8: Bogotá

Today you will disembark your cruise and will fly back to mainland Ecuador where you will connect with a flight to Bogota. In Colombia you will be met and taken to your hotel for the night.
Day 9: Hacienda Bambusa
Accommodation: Hacienda Bambusa
Enjoy a morning walking tour of Bogota before transferring back to the airport and fly to the coffee region. You will be met upon arrival and taken to your hacienda in the coffee region.
Day 10: Hacienda Bambusa
Today you will visit Filandia, Salento and Valle Cocora.

Day 11: Cartagena
Accommodation options: Hotel Alfiz, Casa San Agustin, Hotel Ananda & Hotel Las Islas
Morning coffee tour, ending at the airport for your flight to Cartagena where you will be met and taken to your hotel.
Day 12: Cartagena
