One of the longest rivers in Europe, the Rhine is defined by it`s marvelous scenery as well as small cozy towns and modern big cities.

On our Rhine cruise from Amsterdam to Mainz you will enjoy fantastic landscapes mixed with fairy tales castles on the top of the hills, bright vineyards, beautiful cities and towns and, of course, the real pearl of the Romantic Valley: the famous Loreley.

On the way through three different countries (the Netherlands, Germany and France) we will have eight stops to get acquainted with local history, culture and traditions.

Amsterdam, Cologne, Koblenz, Strasbourg and Mainz - all these remarkable cities are in your to-do list on the Romantic Rhine cruise.

Our experienced chef cooks will offer a variety of traditional specialties for you to try delicious local cuisine – be prepared to gain some kilos by the end of the cruise!

Itinerary: A Walk to Remember end Amsterdam

Day 1: Prague

Welcome to Prague! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting with transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers. In the late afternoon, we will make our way to the Old Town Square. This central location provides a great introduction to Prague, full of energy and touristic activities. You can take your dinner at one of the restaurants offering international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.

Day 2: Prague

Today’s Highlights: City tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the river. Today we will visit the capital, Prague, the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local expert will provide an informative city tour, which will include outstanding monuments. During the visit we walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, we shall take a boat tour on the Vltava River. In the afternoon enjoy some free time to explore the city. In the evening, we will enjoy more time in the historic city centre and there will be an opportunity for you to take dinner. Return to hotel.

Day 3: Prague - Lauf - Wurzburg - Frankfurt

Today’s Highlights: Bavarian Germany. We leave for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, we will see Lauf An Der Pegnitz, a picturesque little village which stands out because of its busy Market Square and Castle. After this we will carry on to WURZBURG, with time for lunch and to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine River, a former bishopric centre and now a very busy university city. Our journey continues to FRANKFURT. Explore the historic city and choose one of the many international restaurants. Go to the hotel.

Day 4: Frankfurt - Cruise On The River Rhine - Cologne (Köln) - Amsterdam

Today’s Highlights: Rhine cruise included. Today we will take a small Cruise on the Rhine, between the villages of Rudesheim and St. Goar, undoubtedly the river’s most picturesque section. After this we will travel to Cologne, a city which stands out for its immense gothic cathedral. Then on to the Netherlands. Arriving to Amsterdam in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Amsterdam light intensity drizzle

Today’s Highlights: Picturesque typical village of Volendam. Boat on the IJsselmeer lake. City tour of Amsterdam. Today we have a very exciting day in the Netherlands. We will go to Zaanse Schans with its mills, canals and its typical houses. Next Volendam, a very picturesque fishing village. A short boat trip from Volendam, will take us to Marken (an island that was joined to the mainland by a fixed dike), where the houses there are built on stilts. After this, we travel to Amsterdam where we will enjoy a panoramic visit of the city to see its narrow canals, its official buildings and parks. We will also see the technique of diamond cutting. A large part of the visit will be done on foot, the information will be given through headphones. Time for dinner in Rembrandtplein, an area with many restaurants from all corners of the world and near the red-light district with its liberal values. Go to the hotel.

Day 6: Amsterdam intensity drizzle

After breakfast, end of our services.

DAY 1/ MAY 28

Amsterdam

The arrival day, check-in starts at 16:00. However, if you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at the reception to explore the city on your own before the check-in.

The first day is a leisurely one as guests unpack and get to know the ship.

The program for the evening and the onboard ABC will be waiting for you in the cabin.

DAY 2/ MAY 29

Amsterdam

This day is completely devoted to your acquaintance with the city of Amsterdam as we stay there for the whole day. With more than 800 years of history, Amsterdam is famous for its old cozy houses on the canals, secret courtyards in the very heart of the city, colorful mixture of cultures and nationalities on the streets and, of course, the feeling of a true liberty.

Moreover, it's a home to many of remarkable museums: Van Gogh Museum, Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank museum, Rembrandt house, Banksy museum of street art and many more.

So, prepare your camera, pick up a map at the reception desk and don't forget an umbrella - Amsterdam is always unpredictable!

* The crew presentation and the welcome cocktail is planned for this day.

DAY 3/ MAY 30

Arnhem

All of the small Dutch cities have their own charm, and Arnhem is not an exception. Located on the right bank of the Lower Rhine, Arnhem is an ideal place to feel the beauty and the very atmosphere of the Netherlands.

Arriving early in the morning, you have a chance to see the city waking up and starting the daily routine. People on the bikes, children going to school, opening cafés and cozy souvenir shops. There is also a chance to find a local market on one of the main squares and to try the famous herring!

Second part of the day you will spend onboard, enjoying the landscapes of flat Holland with it's mills and cows!

DAY 4/ MAY 31

Cologne

After three beautiful days in the Netherlands, we finally arrive in Germany - in the city of Cologne!

Staying there from 06:00 to 22:00 you have a chance to feel the unique vibes of one of the most charming cities on the Rhine. After a delicious breakfast you will enjoy the city center: breathtaking Cathedral that survived both World Wars and cozy narrow streets with cafés and restaurants offering the famous “kölsch” beer.

DAY 5/ JUNE 1

Koblenz + Rudesheim + Romantic Rhine Valley

This day is full of activities! In the morning you will visit Koblenz, a lovely German city situated on a confluence of two rivers – the Rhine and the Moselle.

The next port of call will be Rűdesheim, famous by its vineyards, delicious Rűdesheimer coffee and the Museum of mechanical musical instruments.

Between the stops you will enjoy the most important and certainly the most beautiful part of our itinerary – the Romantic Valley. Villages, towns, castles, vineyards and the fabulous Loreley with its legend – be sure to prepare your camera for the highlights of the cruise!

Join us for the pirates dinner this night: take some striped t-shirt and ask for the accessories at the reception deck - take over the ship!

DAY 6/ JUNE 2

Rudesheim + Mannheim

You will certainly be impressed by the well-planned city of Mannheim situated on two important rivers – the Rhine and the Neckar.

One of the possibilities on this day is to visit Heidelberg, a historic university town that has survived since the 18th century. The ruins of a castle – the biggest ruin in Europe – have inspired generations of people, most famously the Romantics at the start of the 19th century.

Come and get inspired too!

DAY 7/ JUNE 3

Strasbourg

We leave Germany to arrive in France for a full-day stop and to dive into colorful Alsace region.

The whole day is yours: take your camera, a city-map and go directly to the district in the very heart of the city called La Petite France – to admire traditional “gingerbread” houses and beautiful narrow canals.

Walking along the typical Alsace streets you will find yourself by the impressive Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Strasbourg. The city’s main landmark, the cathedral is constructed of dark pink sandstone, and built in the classic Gothic style.

Don't miss a canal cruise to see the city from a different angle!
