Arrive in Ponta Delgada, the capital of the Azores archipelago and transfer independently to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure

DAY 3, Sunday - Full Day in Ponta Delgada
Today is free to explore Ponta Delgada on your own, or join the optional Full Day Nordeste Jeep Tour with lunch. Travel by jeep to Nordeste, known to be the greenest county on São Miguel Island. View Ponta do Cintrão, Santa Iria Viewpoint, Ribeira do Caldeirões, Serra da Tronqueira, and Salto do Cavalo. Lunch at a local restaurant is included

DAY 4, Monday - Full Day in Ponta Delgada
Spend the day at leisure in Ponta Delgada. Perhaps, choose to participate in the optional Full Day Furnas Tour with lunch. Drive along the south road, passing Lagoa and Caloura. Stop at Vila Franca do Campo, the first capital of the island. Continue to the valley of Furnas to visit the lake and hot springs. Enjoy a delicious lunch, cooked by underground vapors! Afterward, visit the botanical garden and mineral springs, where you can choose to swim in a natural hot water pool. Cross the north coast and stop at a tea plantation. Take in the view at Santa Iria before returning to Ponta Delgada

DAY 5, Tuesday - Full Day in Ponta Delgada
Spend another day at leisure in Ponta Delgada, or join the optional Full Day Sete Cidades Jeep Tour with lunch. Travel via jeep to the Western side of São Miguel Island to Sete Cidades. Enjoy the Carvão Viewpoint, Lakes of Empadadas, Nove Janelas, Cumeeria Norte, Sete Cidades, Vista do Rei Viewpoint, Cumeeira Sul, Mosteiros, and Ferraria. Lunch at a local restaurant is included

DAY 6, Wednesday - Full Day in Ponta Delgada
On your last day at leisure, go on a walk along Ponta Delgada's waterfront promenade, and view the 16th century Fortress of São Brás, which houses the Azores Military Museum, or head to the Old Town filled with nice shops and restaurants and shop for souvenirs
