Day 1: ARRIVE IN NAIROBI, KENYA

Day 2: NAIROBI

Conservation Matters
Guided sightseeing starts at the Nairobi Safari Walk for an elevated adventure on raised boardwalks offering uninterrupted views of the endangered pygmy hippos, albino zebras, white rhinos, and more. Learn about the conservation efforts of the region’s diverse wildlife and habitat protection at this animal orphanage. After lunch, visit the Karen Blixen Museum, dedicated to the Danish baroness and author of the 1937 autobiography Out of Africa (later, an Academy Award winning film) illustrating her time living and operating a coffee farm in Kenya. A visit to the [LF] Giraffe Centre is followed by free time this evening.

LOCAL FAVORITE
TALL ORDERS Visit the Giraffe Centre in Nairobi—a non-profit organization operated by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, focused on saving the Rothschild giraffe. During a visit to this remarkable sanctuary, learn about this giraffe sub-species, meet them up close and feed them. Get closer on the feeding platform, and you may just get a kiss!

Day 3: NAIROBI–SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE

Shaba Special
Drive north out of the city to Shaba National Reserve, home to the “Special 5,” a collection of unique animals, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk. Start your safari adventure with an afternoon game drive.

NATURAL WONDERS Listen for a symphony of bird calls at the Shaba National Reserve. More than 400 recorded species including the vibrant vulturine guinea fowl and gray crowned crane reside in Shaba. Look low for the Kori bustard, the largest flying bird native to Africa.

Day 4: SHABA

Arid Awakening
Morning and afternoon game drives plus free time at your lodge. Due to the dry climate, grasses are sparse, making animals easier to spot. The Ewaso Ng’iro River borders the reserve, providing a year-round water supply. These two factors make for a great game viewing experience! Sundowner drinks in the bush are served prior to returning to your lodge for dinner.

Day 5: SHABA–OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

Wonderful Weavers & Wildlife Sanctuaries
Depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. En route, stop at Nanyuki Spinners and Weavers, a project aimed at building sustainable livelihoods for local women through social and economic activities. After lunch, visit the [LF] Sweetwaters Chimp Sanctuary, then set out for an afternoon game drive.

CONSERVATION HEROES Learn more about the plight of chimpanzees during a visit to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. In partnership with the Kenya Wildlife Service and the Jane Goodall Institute, the sanctuary offers a long term home to orphaned and abused chimpanzees—a moving example of wildlife conservation for future generations.

Day 6: OL PEJETA–LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

High & Mighty
Morning game drive in Ol Pejeta. Then, journey through the beautiful Kenyan highlands, one of the most fertile agricultural areas in all of Africa to Lake Nakuru National Park. Settle in to your lodge prior to dinner and gaze at the lush landscape from your private patio or open-air lounge.

Day 7: LAKE NAKURU

At the Water’s Edge
Your morning game drive includes an exclusive [LF] bush breakfast. Keep your eyes out for giraffe, impala, flamingo, striped hyena, and a variety of birdlife along the water’s edge. Free time at your lodge before an afternoon game drive.

Day 8: LAKE NAKURU–MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Jewel of Kenya
This morning, depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous game area. “The Mara,” as it is called by locals, is part of the Serengeti ecosystem and boasts a strong permanent population of game. When the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra arrives, typically from August to early November, their population grows by almost 2 million, providing a bountiful food source for predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena. After lunch at your lodge, set out on an afternoon game drive.

Day 9: MAASAI MARA

Magical Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives plus free time to relax at your camp. Be sure to watch for elephant, rhino, giraffe, topi, hyena, and much more. Tonight, a [LF] farewell dinner in the bush features a traditional Maasai dance performance.

Itinerary: 7 Days Wildlife Safari

Day 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
On Arrival at JKIA international airport, you will be met by our representative and briefed on your safari.
After depart and drive south to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Game viewing en route with the
immense grandeur of Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. Lunch at the lodge Afternoon at leisure. Enjoy
an evening game drive. Amboseli National Park, at the foot of Africa's highest mountain, 5895m
Kilimanjaro, is one of the most popular of Kenya's national parks. Amboseli National Park provides the
classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling Savannah scenery it is dwarfed by the presence of the
pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 5,896 meters, Against this magnificent
backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied by lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle
hippo and wildebeest. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna

Day 2: Amboseli
Another exciting day in Amboseli National Park, we recommend that you get up early morning where
one can experience excellent game viewing & an unprecedented view of the snowcapped Mount
Kilimanjaro. Return to your camp for breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast

to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long or simply relax at your camp and
take in the African wilderness. Afternoon game drives in anticipation of seeing the “BIG FIVE”.

Day 3: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
Have breakfast at the lodge. Depart and drive towards Lake Naivasha. Arrival in time for lunch and check
in at Enashipai Spa and Resort. In the afternoon you have an option to enjoy a boat ride to see the
Hippos in this fresh water lake and visit the Crescent Island. This sanctuary hosts Herbivores like the
Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe and Hippo. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Lake Nakuru
Have breakfast at the resort. Depart and drive towards the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery having a
stopover at the view point en route arriving to the pink lake often referred so due to its great masses of
flamingos. Check in at the lodge, have lunch and after lunch proceed for a game drive in lake Nakuru
National park with numerous animals. During the game drive you will see the huge numbers of
flamingos which are concentrated along the lake shore. In addition to the bird life for which Lake Nakuru
is so well known there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, Black rhino,
White rhino, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebra, impala and water buck. Dinner and overnight at the

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara
Have an early breakfast. Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is on the south along the floor of
the great rift valley then past Narok climb the western wall entering Hemingway's country ''Serengeti
plains''. Arrive in time for lunch at your luxury tented camp. Afternoon enjoy a game drive in this famous
reserve. Dinner and overnight at camp

Day 6: Maasai Mara
Full day at this famous reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can
carry picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp. Visit to Masai villages is also an option.
The Mara is the land of African legend: Lion are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants,
giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebra. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less
commonly, rhino. The annual wildebeest migration, one of nature's few remaining wildlife spectacles,
occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present
in abundance during the time frame of this trip. Several species of Bee-Eater, the flying rainbow that
heads the list of the Mara's birds, occur in the reserve. As well as wildlife, the Masai Mara is also home
to many members of the colorful Masai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park - Morans.
Return to the luxury camp in the evening. Dinner and overnight at camp

Day 7: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
Have breakfast at the luxury camp. Depart for Nairobi with game drive enroute. A stop is provided at
Narok Town the Masai city where you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs.
On arrival have lunch in Nairobi at one of the city hotels later do last minute shopping at one of the
markets. After shopping transfer to the airport to arrive in time for your international final departure,
where your safari ends.
