| Description | Our 4 days Machu Picchu tours are perfect for a quick visit to the ruins. Itinerary 4A is best if you have limited time and do not mind going to Machu Picchu only for the day (3.5 hours each way by train from Cusco). |
Day 1: Lima
Lima Arrival after 3pm. Welcome to Lima! Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in the beautiful area of Miraflores. If time permits, venture out and begin to explore Peru's amazing culture and cuisine. Overnight at Casa Andina Plaza or similar.
Day 2: Lima/Cusco
Meals: Breakfast
Fly before 9am. Early flight to Cusco (11,152 ft). Welcome upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. During the afternoon we will enjoy a guided tour of Cusco with its ancient cathedrals and amazingly crafted Inca walls. We will also visit the ruins at Kenko, Tambomachay, Puka Pukara and Saqsaywaman. Overnight at Casa Andina Plaza or similar.
Day 3: Cusco (Machu Picchu)
Meals: Breakfast
This morning we will board the train to Machu Picchu (7,875 ft.). During our 3.5 hours journey you will enjoy great views of the mountains, river and maybe a glance of the awesome Condor. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes Station (Machu Picchu Town) you will begin a guided tour of Machu Picchu. After the tour you can continue to explore Machu Picchu on your own or return to the town with the group. Our train back to Cusco will depart in the mid to late afternoon. Overnight at Casa Andina Plaza or similar.
Day 4: Cusco/Lima
Meals: Breakfast
Cusco to Lima - Fly anytime. Enjoy an early morning walk in Cusco before your departure to Lima or continue on one of our extensions.
