Itinerary: Best of Spain Adventure Tour

Day 1: Madrid

Accommodation: AC Atocha Madrid by Marriott or similar.

Arrival at any time. On the 1st day we have not planned any activities.

Day 2: Madrid

You will go for a beautiful walk to explore the city and in the afternoon visit the Prado Museum. Additionally you can visit Toledo, one of the oldest cities in Europe and home to works of El Greco's art.

Day 3: Cordoba

Accommodation: AC Hotel by Marriot or similar

On the third day you will enjoy a fascinating tour of Cordoba. Take a walking tour of Cordoba and learn about the city history through its remarkable sites. Visit the Fortress of the Catholic Monarchs, the Synagogue, the Jewish Quarter, the Great Mosque known as the Cathedral of Cordoba, and much more.

Day 4-6: Granada

Accommodation: NH Collection Vectoria or similar.

You will walk through the busy streets of Granada and visit the Alhambra and in the evening try paella in one of the restaurants.

Day 6-8: Seville/Madrid

Accommodation: Melia Sevilla or similar

Today you will travel to Seville and enjoy a walking tour around the city, visit Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and Alcazar of Seville and see the burial site of Christopher Columbus.

Day 8: you will go back to Madrid.

Itinerary: Wonders Of Spain And Morocco
Day 1: USA - MADRID

Make your way to the International Airport to check-in for your flight to Madrid. Enjoy in-flight meals and services. Overnight on board.

Day 2: MADRID ARRIVAL

Welcome to Spain! Make your way to your hotel independently to check in and enjoy the balance of the day to explore the city at your own pace. Overnight in Madrid

Day 3: MADRID CORDOBA - SEVILLA(B)

This morning find your way (transfer not included) to our bus terminal at 8:00 (address: Calle San Bernardo, 7), please make sure to be there 15 minutes in advance to avoid any delay. Depart through La Mancha country to Cordoba. Sightseeing tour of Cordoba in which you will get to see many of the highlights, visiting its famous Mosque/Cathedral and Jewish Quarter. Next is Seville, a wonderful city, regarded by some as the romantic capital of Andalucía. Visitors can understand why this city is the setting for the Operas Carmen, Don Juan and Figaro as well as being the home of the fiery flamenco, they feel it, in the narrow streets, squares, courtyards and colorful patios of the Santa Cruz district.

Day 4: SEVILLA (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a morning city tour visiting the Barrio de Santa Cruz with its narrow streets, the Park of Maria Luisa and Plaza de Espana, with panoramic sightseeing of the city. This afternoon, enjoy free time to explore the city, perhaps a river cruise along the Guadalquir or a visit to the pseudo reconstruction of Pontius Pilates House (Casa de Pilatos), which began in the 16th century, and presents an interesting blend of mudejar, gothic and renaissance styles with its beautiful patio and gallery, elegant fountain and ornamental minerva statues.

Day 5: SEVILLA RONDA MARBELLA(B)

Following breakfast, travel the route of the white villages including a stopover in Ronda, located over a deep ravine cut into rock 100 metres the Rio Tajo. Ronda has a spectacular location, this town simply invites visitors to wander along fascinating streets and alleys, or relax at one of the local cafes, perhaps overlooking the gorge, enjoying the beautiful regional cuisine and fine local wines while watching the world go by. Continue to the Costa del Sol for dinner in Marbella.

Day 6: MARBELLA TANGIER RABAT - CASABLANCA (B)

After breakfast, depart for Algeciras or Tarifa to board the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar towards Africa. Arrive into Morocco and after customs continue by motorcoach to Tangier for panoramic tour. Continue to Rabat, the Capital, for a walking tour where you visit Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Continue to the cosmopolitan city of Casablanca, made even more famous by the movie “Casablanca”.

Day 7: CASABLANCA MARRAKECH (B)

Enjoy a panoramic tour before departing for Marrakech. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of this Imperial city visiting the famous Djemaa el Fna Square filled with its magical sights and sounds including snake charmers, jugglers, acrobats, storytellers, pickpockets and even dentists.

Day 8: MARRAKECH MEKNES - FES (B)

Continue seeing Marrakech, visiting the Koutoubia Tower and the Tombs Saadi. Depart for Meknes, the Imperial city founded at the end of the 17th Century by Moulay Ismail and enjoy a panoramic tour of this imperial walled city with the beautiful Bab El Mansour gate. Your next destination is fabulous Fes.

Day 9: FES (B)

The most ancient of the Imperial Cities, founded in the 8th century, Fes has become the spiritual heart and cultural centre of Morocco. Following breakfast, a morning sightseeing program including the Medersa, considered to be the first university of the Islamic world, the old Kasbah and its narrow streets, a visit to the dyers and tanners quarters where sheep and goatskins are coloured and processed into fashionable garments, the fountain Najerine, and the great Medina. An afternoon at leisure allows visitors to discover and explore Fes themselves which can be achieved in hours or days, this is a wonderful city with a fabulous “World Heritage” medieval medina.

Day 10: FES TANGIER MARBELLA (B)

After breakfast depart for Tangier ferry port to board the ferry and cross the Strait back to Spain. Arrive in Marbella for dinner and accommodation.

Day 11: MARBELLA GRANADA (B)

Depart towards the city of Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment, last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world-famous Alhambra with its beautiful Nazari Palaces and the Generalife.

Day 12: GRANADA TOLEDO - MADRID (B)

Drive northward to the impressive imperial city of Toledo, a World Heritage City surrounded by the Tagus River where three religions: Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have continually lived together. Your tour of Toledo includes the most important monuments, its narrow streets and the famous “Damasquinado” (gold and silver inlaying in iron). Afterwards you will be transferred back to Madrid coach station from where you need to make your own way to your accommodation in Madrid.

Day 13: MADRID - USA/CANADA (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before being transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
