This 7-day Family Safari invites you to experience an exhilarating Botswana safari and an opportunity to tour one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls. Starting in the Khwai concession of the iconic Okavango Delta, you will spend your days exploring the waterways on boating safaris and spotting members of the Big 5 on daily game drives. Next up, venture further afield to Zambia. Your base is located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi, just 20 minutes from Victoria Falls. |
Days 1 - 2: Selinda Reserve
You will fly into Maun Airport followed by a road transfer into the Zarafa Camp where you will spend the next two nights. One of Botswana’s smallest camps with only four rooms, Zarafa Camp is a camp of ultimate luxury, and offers one of the best luxury experiences in Botswana. Situated on the Selinda Reserve private concession, in the Linyati Region, North of Botswana, the camp’s focus is on hospitality and exclusivity. The rooms boast large spaces furnished with antique décor. The full range of wildlife on offer in the Chobe can be found within the Selinda Reserve, including a large population of birds and mammal species. The reserve is also predator rich including cheetah, wild dog, lion and leopard. The activities here include Game drives, walks, night drives, bush dinners, fishing, canoeing and boating.

Days 3 - 4: Okavango Delta
After breakfast you will be road- transferred to Selinda Airstrip where you will board a flight from the Airstrip to Duba Plains airstrip followed by a road transfer to Duba plains Camp. Situated on an island in the Northern Reaches of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, game Rich Grasslands surround the camp of a mere six traditional Meru-style canvas tents. The camp is known for its big prides of Lions and the thousands of buffalo inhibiting the area are hunted by the resident Lion prides. The activities include early morning and late afternoon/ evening game drives in an open 4x4 vehicle and boat based activities when water levels permit.

Days 5 - 6: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Your fifth day entails a road transfer from Duba Plains Camp to the Duba Plains Airstrip and then a flight from the Airstrip to Kasane, followed by a road transfer to Victoria Falls Airport and then a road transfer to Victoria Falls River Lodge. This luxury venue is perched on a plateau just four kilometres away from the thundering falls and neighbouring the Zambezi National Park, you have access to safaris and exciting activities, such as bungee jumping and white water rafting near the Falls. Accommodating every kind of occasion, from weddings, conference facilities and your intimate family vacation stays, with 72 en-suite bedrooms, with private sundecks provide views of the Zambezi National Park, an on-site waterhole and the breathtaking horizon. Days 7 - 8: Livingstone (Victoria Falls)
Breakfast will be served before you are transferred from the Victoria Falls RiverLodge to Livingstone airport and then another road transfer will take you directly to Royal Chundu Lodge. Situated on the private stretch of the Zambezi river, just upstream from the famous Victoria falls; the lodge is the place for both relaxation or an adventure of a lifetime. Royal Chundu consists of both River Lodge and Island Lodge. River Lodge offers spacious suites overlooking both the Zambezi River and Zimbabwe Matetsi Private Game Reserve. It promises spectacular vistas and arm-chair game-viewing accompanied by the background roar of the Victoria Falls. Island lodge is located on the private island of Katambura surrounded by baobab and Jackalberry trees. This is the more private and exclusive of the two lodges. The villas; romantically designed, features world class amenities that echoes the world. Here, you may choose to take a Mokoro (traditional canoe) trip to a local village on a guided walk and learn about the traditions and customs. Game-driving and bird watching opportunities are available as well.
Day 9: Departure
On your last day after breakfast you will be transferred back to Livingstone International Airport for your onward journey back home to share some amazing experiences of wildlife and African sunsets.

Day 1-2: Safari begins

On arrival at Main Airport, you will board a light aircraft flight to the Khwai Concession located in the legendary Okavango Delta. Touch down where you lodge representative will meet you and transfer you and your family to your base for the next two night, Khwai Tented Camp. Situated in front of a lagoon, the luxury tented camp is perched on an elevated deck and overlooks the Khwai River. Spend your days here exploring the waterways of the Okavango on mokoro safaris, guided walking safaris, day and night game drives, bird watching and cultural visits to Khwai village.
Day 3-4: Safari continues in another camp

Wake up to a hearty breakfast at Khwai Tented Camp, before boarding a helicopter for your scenic flight over the delta to Linyanti Ebony, your base for the next 2 nights. Consisting of 4 luxury tents and a two-bedroom family tent, Linyanti Ebony offers an exclusive safari experience and is ideal for families. Spend your time here on game drives and guided walking safaris through the reserve. Take to the water for boating and fishing expeditions.
Day 5-6: Start of Zambia trip

Accommodation: Luxury lodge inside Mosi-oa-Tunya NP (Zambia)
After a healthy breakfast at Linyanti Ebony, you will transfer to Kasane Airport in Chobe for your return flight to Main. From here, you will board a short flight to Livingstone in Zambia where a lodge representative will be ready to transfer you to Thorntree River Lodge, a mere 20-minute drive from the mighty Victoria Falls. Located on the banks of the Zambezi River in Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, Thorntree River Lodge offer eco-conscious luxury accommodation. Activities here include tours of the Falls, exhilarating game drives, captivating cultural visits, sunset river cruises, a rhino experience as well as a Cub Club for the little ones.

Day 7 marks the final day of your Botswana and Victoria Falls Family Safari. After a seamless checkout, your driver will meet you to transfer you to the Livingstone Airport for your onward journey home.
