Description This 9 day journey takes riders deep into the heart of hilltribe country on a rugged and wild ride filled with raw adventure. Climb into the hills, through thick jungle pathways, isolated mountainsides, and remote river valleys on a journey that's as rewarding as it is challenging. Meet curious locals who have never met a foreigner- certainly not a mountain biker!- and take in virgin views of some of Southeast Asia's most impressive scenery by day, and a pure, starry sky by night. This is pure trail adventure, waiting for you in Laos.
Itinerary: Hidden Tribes and Trails of Laos

Day 1

Arrive in Laung Prabang and meet your guide and crew for a tour briefing over welcome dinner.

Day 2

The first ride of the trip, cross the Mekong to explore Hmong villages and get a taste of Northern Laos singletrack! In the afternoon, transfer out of Luang Prabang and into hill tribe country.

Day 3

A challenging ride in real hill tribe country! Taking a winding, river road, ride through tribal villages and banana plantations. A big climb is in store for the day, followed by a long descent into the town of Vieng Kham.

Day 4

Begin the day with a challenging ride through the hillside farms and villages on a technical route with fantastic scenery. End the day relaxing in a laid back tribal town.

Day 5

Take a break from the bikes today for one of the highlights of the trip- a longtail boat cruise up the Nam Ou River.

Day 6

One of the most challenging days of the trip, ride nearly 70 kilometers on singletrack and rough village roads through the mountainous terrain of Northern Laos.

Day 7

A dynamic ride out of the hills in Nayang down to the famous town of Nong Khiaw, followed by a refreshing boat ride and a long and steady ride on a scenic riverside trail.

Day 8

The last day of riding on singletrack through quintessential Northern Laos countryside. Take a last look at this land untouched by time, before riding down the Mekong River back to Luang Prabang.

Day 9

Departure or onward travel from Luang Prabang.
