Itinerary: Buenos Aires - Iguazu Falls And Rio De Janeiro
Day 1 - Arrival in Buenos Aires:
According to your flight itinerary, a driver will be waiting for you at the disembarkation area with a sign in your name, to transfer you quickly and safely to your hotel in downtown Buenos Aires. Check-in and rest of the day free.
Day 2 - Walking Tour and Tango Show:
The day starts with a walk around the city. Around 10 am we leave our offices to visit the most beautiful and interesting places. The tour is made walking and traveling by public transport, to visit exhaustively the Center, San Telmo, La Boca and Recoleta where our tour ends. This tour is ideal for taking pictures and visiting areas outside the massive tourist circuit. The tour ends around 4:30 pm.
In the evening, between 8pm and 8.30pm we will pick you up at your hotels to enjoy a beautiful dinner accompanied by an unforgettable Tango show. The event will take place in El Querandí, one of the most popular tanguerias in San Telmo neighborhood. You will be welcomed with a three-step gourmet dinner with a wide selection of typical dishes and regional wines. Afterwards, you will be able to witness an incredible show, which reviews the History of Tango with different dancing couples and singers. At the end, around midnight, you will be returned to your hotel.
Day 3 - Fiesta Estancia Gaucha Santa Susana:
Together with our guides we will leave the city towards Los Cardales (province of Buenos Aires) enjoying a panoramic and pleasant journey where we will travel through the Argentinean pampas to the Estancia. Once the tour is over, we will be received with a welcome reception where we will serve some typical traditional empanadas of meat, Argentine wine and soft drinks.
Our guides will take you to see some of the attractions of Santa Susana such as its traditional museum and beautiful church. Afterwards, you will enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride to explore the ranch grounds. After the tour of the ranch, the Estancia offers a delicious barbecue.
Day 4 - Sailing to Tigre:
The tour starts at the boat terminal in the luxurious neighborhood of Puerto Madero, where you will meet your guide at 9:45 am. From there, you will sail across the Rio de la Plata and the Delta, to enjoy the best views of the city. Once in Tigre, you will go on a touristic bus ride, to see the main attractions. We continue with a walking tour around the famous market of the Port of Fruits. Finally, we will return to Buenos Aires by train to Retiro station, where the tour ends.
Day 5 - Arrival to Iguazú and Falls on the Brazilian side:
Your transportation will take you to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazú. There you will be met and transferred to the hotel to check in. Then, in the afternoon, the tour begins to visit the Falls on the Brazilian side.
The Iguassu National Park (Brazilian side) has an extension of 185,000 hectares. The route of the footbridges is 1,200 meters of path on the Iguazú River ravine. You will be able to obtain a panoramic view of the Argentinean waterfalls, which is an ideal place to take pictures. Towards the end of the tour you will arrive at the lower viewpoint of Garganta del Diablo, which is about 200 meters away. This wonderful scenery is even more enhanced by the permanent rainbow formation.
Day 6 - Argentine Falls:
Transfer from hotels early in the morning to visit the Argentine side of the Park. Once you cross the access gate, continue to the "Central Station" where the option is to take a train service that takes you to the "Cataratas Station" and/or "Garganta del Diablo Station". The other option to access the Cataratas Circuits (Upper and Lower Walkway) is through the "Sendero Verde" Pedestrian Path, 600 meters long, which starts at the Visitors' Center and ends at the Cataratas Station.
Day 7 - Arrival in Rio de Janeiro:
According to the selected option, your transportation will take you to the airport in Puerto Iguaçu or Foz do Iguassu, to take your flight to Rio. Once there, you will be transferred to your hotel, to check in and enjoy the rest of the day off.
Day 8 -Jeep Corcovado Tour with Floresta Da Tijuca and Santa Teresa:
Our walk begins with the departure from the passenger hotels to travel by jeep through the traditional neighborhood of Santa Teresa, where we will find mansions built at the beginning of the 20th century. Today it is a refuge for artists and intellectuals. Then we will continue our journey until we reach the Tijuca Forest National Park, the largest urban forest in the world, where the monument to Christ the Redeemer is located at the top of Corcovado Mountain, at an altitude of 710 meters above sea level. At that moment, passengers change vehicles to get into a van that will transport them to the entrance of Corcovado and then return to the jeep. Then we will continue with the visit to Doña Marta's viewpoint, to admire the magnificent view, as well as take a short walk to a waterfall.
Day 9 - Corcovado and Pan de Azúcar:
We start with the pick up from your hotels to visit the Corcovado Hill and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, located at 710 meters high. From the summit you can see the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, the northern area and several beaches. We will be able to make the ascent in the historical train. After contemplating the wonderful panoramic view of the city, we will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch before continuing our tour.
After lunch we will visit the Sugar Loaf Mountain, located at 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of the Guanabara Bay. The ascent is done by cable car to the top of the mountain, from which you have a wonderful 360° view of the Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo and its surroundings.
Day 10 - Free day:
This day you can take a break or visit the Olympic Boulevard and the Museum of Tomorrow on your own.
Day 11 - Guanabara Bay:
In this historical and touristic trip, you will take a boat that will border the Guanabara Bay, visiting points of cultural importance and great beauty. Our tour will take you to the beaches of Flamengo, Botafogo and Urca, the Pão de Açucar, the Museum of Contemporary Art, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, the Island of Enxadas and the Monument to the Dead from the Second World War, just to mention some of the places to visit.
Day 12 - Farewell to Rio:
According to your flight itinerary, you will be transferred to the airport, to continue your trip or return to your home.
