This packed two week adventurous tour takes you through some of Argentina’s most beautiful and diverse landscapes. You’ll start your tour in Argentina’s never-sleeping capital city of Buenos Aires before heading right down into Patagonia to Ushuaia on the island of Tierra del Fuego which is located just at the End of the World. From there you’ll fly to El Calafate, the door to the stunning landscapes of the Patagonian Glacier National Park before heading north to the amazing Iguazú Falls on the borders of Brazil and Paraguay. You’ll continue your Argentina odyssey exploring the colorful landscapes and native cultures around Salta and Jujuy in Argentina’s northern desert region. Itinerary: End of the Earth

Day 1 Buenos Aires

Arrive at any time.

As there are no planned activities until an evening welcome meeting, check into the hotel and enjoy the city. With any extra time, opt to visit the districts of La Boca, Recoleta, and San Telmo or catch a tango show. Booking pre- or post-trip accommodation is highly recommended to fully experience this vibrant city.

Day 2 Buenos Aires/El Chaltén

Enjoy an early transfer to the airport to fly to El Calafate and continue by private transportation to El Chaltén and Los Glaciares National Park. En route marvel at the towering Andean mountains. Enjoy some free time in the town or head out on some short hikes.

Fly south to the province of Santa Cruz and the town of El Calafate before transferring overland to El Chaltén. Warm up for the upcoming hike with optional short treks to nearby lookouts or explore around town.

Day 3 El Chaltén

Enjoy a full-day guided hike to Laguna de los Tres and if the weather cooperates, a clear view of the Fitz Roy peaks. En route, take in the gradual changes in terrain from tree covered trails to exposed alpine landscapes.

Day 4 El Chaltén/El Calafate

Enjoy a free morning, opt to wake up early and conquer another hike before heading to the quaint little town of El Calafate.

Day 5 El Calafate

Travel to Perito Moreno Glacier for an included guided tour. Opt to take a boat ride on the lake and get different view of the stunning landscape and marvel at how large the glacier actually is up close.

Day 6 El Calafate/Puerto Natales

Travel by bus into Puerto Natales to prepare for the upcoming days of included hikes with expert mountain guides.

Continue the journey south along an unpaved road to the border of Chile. Spend a relaxing evening in scenic Puerto Natales before heading into spectacular Torres del Paine National Park. Explore the town, eat a hearty meal for energy, and rest well for the hike ahead. Do any last minute shopping here and rent all equipment required. Then, get ready for a detailed briefing with your CEO and local mountain guides about everything you need to know before heading out on this trek.

Travelling with your full backpack to Torres del Paine is not a possibility. Your suitcase or backpack will be stored in the hotel in Puerto Natales. A dry bag will be provided with a sleeping bag inside and you will have 2.5kgs to store any extra clothing, snacks, toiletries you may need. Apart from that, you will have your own backpack with the necessary gear for the hikes. Any necessary hiking gear like poles, rain gear, etc can be rented in town.

Day 7 Puerto Natales/Torres del Paine

Hop on a private transfer and enjoy the two and a half hour drive to the entrance of Torres del Paine National Park. Stop at the Welcome Center and get ready to begin the hike. Start exploring Torres del Paine by trekking to the base of Las Torres to see the dramatic three towers and turquoise lagoon below.

Day 8 Torres del Paine

Wake up surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy breakfast with a view, pack your bag, and jump in the van to Lake Pehoe. Cross the lake by boat and trek to the French Valley, from the lookout point see the mountain range spreading across the National Park. Take in the dramatic, contrasting greens and greys on the landscape.

Day 9 Torres del Paine/Puerto Natales

Enjoy the last day in Torres del Paine NP on a fast-paced hike to Grey Lake and the first lookout point for Grey Glacier. Gaze off into the distance admiring the scale of this immense glacier. In the afternoon return to Puerto Natales.

Day 10 Puerto Natales/Ushuaia

Get your snacks ready and take a bus South to Ushuaia (Argentina), the "End of the Earth". Please note the bus will depart from Puerto Natales to Ushuaia, with some stops on the way for people to get on and off. Hop on a ferry to cross the Magellan Strait and then continue by bus to Ushuaia. Cross the boarder from Chile to Argentina and feel amazed by the views.

Day 11 Ushuaia

Enjoy a free day to explore Ushuaia. Opt to hike to Laguna Esmeralda, or rest your legs and visit some museums such us the Maritime Museum or the Prison at the End of the World Museum, or do some horseback riding. You can also chill at the spa or the heated swimming pool of the hotel.

Day 12 Ushuaia

Enjoy another free day to explore the area. Opt to take a boat cruise on the Beagle Channel to see penguins at Isla Martillo or enjoy a hike in Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Day 13 Ushuaia/Buenos Aires

Fly to Buenos Aires.

Opt to pre-book the "Buenos Aires Tango Experience" activity on the checkout page ahead of time to include this optional on your tour.

Day 14 Buenos Aires

Depart at any time.

Itinerary: Contrasts of Argentina

Day 1: Arrival in Argentina
Buenos Aires
Arrival at the International Airport of Argentina, we will be waiting for you there to take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free, you can rest and enjoy the hotel services or explore the city on your own. We recommend you to visit Recoleta Cemetery, a beautiful historical site surrounded by parks and cafes, on weekends there is a craft fair!

Day 2: Exploring the "Paris of South America"
Buenos Aires
After breakfast, we will go to explore Buenos Aires on foot or we can also do it by bike. We'll get to know the most important buildings and neighborhoods in the capital. We will visit the obelisk, La Boca, San Telmo, Recoleta and Palermo. In the evening, we're going to one of the more traditional tango shows. Dinner and wine are included.

Day 3: Flight to the End of the World
Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Ushuaia (not included), in the southern tip of Patagonia. Ushuaia is known as the city of the end of the world. It is located on the shores of the Beagle Channel and is an island surrounded by mountains and a wonderful flora and fauna. The rest of the day is free to get to know the city on your own. Be sure to visit the museums!

Day 4: The Land of Fire
Around Ushuaia
After breakfast, we propose to discover the nature that lives in Tierra del Fuego National Park. With our specialized guides you will know in detail all the secrets of this paradise of mountains, lakes and fresh water rivers. This day we will walk through the forest and then we will do canoes to the Lapataia bay.

Day 5: Lakes Off-Road
Around Ushuaia
The Lakes off-Road tour is a fun, intense and enjoyable way to discover the secrets behind the Andes. Far from being a conventional excursion, you will be able to enjoy and have fun on roads where it is only possible to enter our all-terrain trucks. We will enjoy the beauty of Escondido Lake and Fagnano.

Day 6: Flight to the glaciers
Ushuaia to El Calafate
Breakfast. Transfer from the Hotel to the airport to take your flight to El Calafate (not included) After your arrival, transfer to your hotel. Free day to tour the village on your own.
El Calafate is a town near Lake Argentino, one of the largest and most impressive in Patagonia, Argentina.

Day 7: The Perito Moreno Glacier
El Calafate
One of the most interesting activities is to do the trekking (minitrekking) on the Perito Moreno Glacier. The bus takes us to the port, after a short navigation we get together to put on our crampons and start walking on top of the glacier. This activity is so magnificent because it allows us to come into contact with the glacier, its peaks, caves and small interior lagoons of an intense blue color.

Day 8: Patagonia at your fingertips
Around El Calafate
Breakfast. Free day to explore the beautiful scenery around the Los Glaciares National Park. There are several optional excursions you can take on this day. Like sailing on Lake Argentina, with its huge icebergs. Another option is to visit a Patagonian estancia where you can appreciate the environment, learn about the history of Patagonia, go horseback riding and even watch the shearing of sheep.

Day 9: North to Iguazu
El Calafate to Iguazu Falls
After breakfast at your hotel in El Calafate we will pick you up and take you to the airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazu (not included). Puerto Iguazú is a small town near the spectacular Iguazú Falls. At the airport we will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Iguazu. The rest of the day is free.

Day 10: Exploring the falls

Breakfast. This day we will take you to visit the Iguazu National Park (Arg) where you will marvel at the waterfalls, rivers and jungle. The park has several trails that will take you through the jungle on footbridges built a few meters above the ground. These elevated walkways protect the natural habitat of wildlife and allow for spectacular views.

Day 11: Salta La Linda
Iguazu to Salta
After breakfast we will pick you up to take you to the airport, where you will take your flight to Salta (not included). In Salta we will be waiting to take you to your hotel. The city of Salta known as "La Linda" due to its well-preserved colonial architecture and the surrounding landscape. This day in the afternoon we will make a visit to the city, knowing the most important sites and churches.

Day 12: The Road to the Clouds
Salta to Purmamarca
This day we will take you on a 2-day tour, visiting the highlights of the northwest. First we will go by the path of the clouds, through the gorge of the bull to San Antonio de los Cobres, at the top of the puna. Then we will continue through the large salt flats and descend the Lipan slope to reach Purmamarca where we will spend the night.

Day 13: Exploring Northern Argentina
Purmamarca to Salta
Breakfast. We will continue the journey through the Quebrada de Humahuaca, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, passing through several villages with their adobe houses and churches. At noon we will arrive at Humahuaca, a typical Andean colonial town, with narrow streets and adobe buildings. In this tour you will know the famous Cerro de los Siete Colores. Return to Salta

Day 14: Cafayate daytrip
Salta and Cafayate
After breakfast we will look for you to start the full day visit to Cafayate. As we leave the city, heading south, we will pass through large tobacco plantations, then through a beautiful ravine with rocky formations resulting from water and wind erosion. In Cafayate we will visit a winery, where we will have a small tasting. Then we will have free time to have lunch and visit the village. I'm going back to Salta in the afternoon.

Day 15: Back to capital city
Salta to Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires (not included) Upon your arrival at Aeroparque we will be waiting to take you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free, take advantage of it to do some shopping and take some souvenirs or just to go for a walk.

Day 16: Leaving Argentina
Buenos Aires
After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel to take your flight home.
