Description Discover a coastline of extraordinary beauty, where northern Europe’s highest mountains overlook endlessly dramatic fjords that are the scenic envy of the world. This voyage takes in no fewer than 34 ports of call from picturesque Bergen to the breathtaking North Cape and beyond, by way of Tromsø, Ålesund, Hammerfest, Trondheim and a host of other enthralling coastal towns and villages. With departures across Norway’s contrasting seasons, all dates offer spectacular scenery, plus the option to experience the ‘midnight sun’, ‘autumn gold’ or search for the Northern Lights.
Itinerary: Norway Adventure

Day 1 London - Bergen
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Gatwick Airport for your direct, scheduled Norwegian flight to Bergen. On arrival, we transfer to the Scandic Neptun (4T) where we enjoy an included dinner tonight.

Day 2 Bergen
After breakfast, we take you on a morning city sightseeing tour including Troldhaugen and the Norwegian Fishing Village Museum. The afternoon allows time to visit Mount Floien, where the adventurous can take the funicular to the top for spectacular views of the city. Later, we join our Hurtigruten vessel (3T+) for an evening sailing.

Day 3 Maløy - Ålesund
Making brief calls at Maløy and Torvik, we reach the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund. The main church is built in a circular style and contains magnificent frescoes painted by Enevold Thomt.

Day 4 Trondheim - Rørvik
Early morning arrival in Trondheim to explore the narrow alleys and wooden buildings of this medieval capital, or take an excursion to Norway’s national shrine, Nidaros Cathedral. Our voyage continues at lunchtime, passing islands and mountain formations, lands of countless myths and legends, before arriving at the charming fishing village of Rørvik.

Day 5 Bodø - Svolvær
Early this morning, we cross the Arctic Circle, the invisible border circling the earth. We spend time ashore in Bodø, before continuing along the Vest Fjord to the Lofoten Islands, rising up out of the sea like vast jagged exclamation marks. After a brief call in Stamsund, we sail on to Svolvær.

Day 6 Harstad - Tromsø
We arrive in Harstad, before travelling on to Tromsø, the ‘Paris of the North’.

Day 7 Hammerfest - Honningsvåg
We wake up this morning in the picturesque harbour of Hammerfest, the world’s most northerly town. After time ashore, sail northwards through beautiful scenery into Finnmark and Honningsvåg, from where you can join an optional excursion to the North Cape. Our ship then continues east towards Kjøllefjord and Mehamn.

Day 8 Kirkenes - Berlevåg
Time ashore in Kirkenes, on the Norwegian border with Russia, before beginning our journey south.

Day 9 Skjervoy - Tromsø
We sail along the beautiful leeward side of Mageroya Island to arrive in Honningsvåg in the early morning; then continue on to Hammerfest and Tromsø.

Day 10 Finnsnes - Stamsund
Our journey today, through the Vesterålen and Lofoten islands, is one of the most beautiful parts of this voyage. The ship slips through a channel between mountains, arriving in Stamsund this evening.

Day 11 Brønnøsund - Rørvik
The morning is spent crossing back and forth between islands, through narrow straits which cut through the lush agricultural land. We arrive at Brønnøsund in the afternoon, then continue through the narrowest part of the voyage, before arriving in Rørvik this evening.

Day 12 Trondheim - Ålesund
In Trondheim, we have time for further exploration, before we cross the Trondheim Fjord again, passing the island of Hitra with its large herds of deer. The lighthouse on the island of Grip comes into view, reminding us that the next port of call is the salt cod town of Kristiansund. On to the City of Roses - Molde - before we arrive for the final time in Ålesund late tonight.

Day 13 Bergen - London
We sail through the beautiful Vestland scenery, and the Sognefjord archipelago to Bergen. Early afternoon disembarkation and transfer to the airport for your direct, scheduled Norwegian flight to London Gatwick Airport. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
