Description | Sit back and relax aboard Fred. Olsen’s Braemar as we cruise towards Spain and Portugal’s finest ports of call. Feel the warmth on your skin as the spring climate makes this an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Enjoy a few days exploring some of Andalucia - from city life to navigating the Guadalquivir River - before heading to Portugal where you can appreciate the finest port producers in the hilly town of Porto. A final stop in La Coruña provides a last-minute opportunity to soak up the Spanish sun before heading back home with long-lasting memories. |
Day 1 Southampton
Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Southampton, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Braemar (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing.
Day 2-4 At sea
Day 5 Cádiz, Spain
Arrive this morning in one of Western Europe’s most ancient cities, a province full of windswept beaches and pretty villages. Explore the Old Town where stone walls dating back to the 1500s still stand today for you to admire.
Day 6-7 Seville (overnight)
Sail in to Seville to enjoy a few days in this stunning city, a place with plenty of must-sees and mouth-watering restaurants at every turn. Why not visit the 100m-high Giralda clock tower or step inside the Gothic cathedral to view spectacular works of art. We sail in the evening of day 7.
Day 8 Cruising Guadalquivir River
Today we head for the Guadalquivir River and enjoy the scenic views right at our fingertips, as we voyage Spain’s largest winding course.
Day 9 Lisbon, Portugal
Portugal’s capital offers something for everyone - aside from the warm sunshine breezes, you can admire one of the many splendid bridges that connects this cosmopolitan city’s art, culture and local life. Visit the flea market at Campo de Santa Clara or watch the world go by in one of the many gardens.
Day 10 Leixões (Porto)
Arrive early in Leixões from where we can visit Porto, home of the finest port producers. Stroll along the River Duoro and visit one of the many wine cellars. The hilly town is a true delight, a place that is heavily influenced by art, from hand-painted tiles to neo-classic modern statues.
Day 11 La Coruña, Spain
Today’s port of call allows you to experience the bustling seaport of La Coruña. Steeped in ancient Roman history, you can absorb monuments and structures dating back to the 12th century. Alternatively, you may want to opt for a more leisurely place by simply heading to the beach.
Day 12 At sea
Day 13 Southampton
We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
