Day 1: Barcelona
Accommodation: Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona or similar
Arrival at any time. On the 1st day we have not planned any activities.
Day 2: Barcelona
Explore this beautiful city on a walking tour around Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas and visit Sagrada Familia. Take a walk on Barcelonetta beach and in the evening go to try tapas and Spanish wine.
Day 3: Valencia
Explore Valencia’s breathtaking City of Arts and Sciences with a combined full-day ticket to the Principe Felipe Science Museum and Hemisfèric. See state-of-the-art architecture and more.
Day 4-5: Granada
Accommodation: NH Collection Vectoria or similar
You will walk through the busy streets of Granada and visit the Alhambra and in the evening try paella in one of the restaurants.
Day 5-7: Seville
Accommodation: Melia Sevilla or similar
Today you will travel to Seville and enjoy a walking tour around the city, visit Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and Alcazar of Seville and see the burial site of Christopher Columbus.
Day 8: Madrid
You will go for a beautiful walk to explore the city and in the afternoon visit the Prado Museum. Additionally you can visit Toledo, one of the oldest cities in Europe and home to works of El Greco's art.
Day 1 Barcelona - Valencia - Alicante
After check in and boarding at Plaza Catalunya, we depart Barcelona and drive to beautiful Valencia, Spain's third largest city. Upon arrival, we'll visit the Modernisme Plaza of the City Hall of Valencia; Valencia's Ancient City Gates; and Valencia Cathedral, where the true Holy Grail is kept. Accommodations for the evening are in or near Alicante.
Day 2 Alicante - Granada - Malaga
This morning we depart for the city of Granada, an historic city once ruled by the Visigoths and the Moors. We'll make a photo stop near the Alhambra Palace, a Moorish citadel and palace, then visit Granada's medieval quarter, Albaicin. Accommodations for the evening are in or near Malaga along the Costa del Sol.
Day 3 Malaga - Seville
On Day 3 we travel to Seville, once the the capital of the Muslim dynasty. We'll visit Seville Cathedral and then the Alcazar of Seville, a Muslim castle later converted to a Spanish Royal Palace. Then we'll take a walk through Barrio Santa Cruz, Torre del Oro (Tower of Gold), and Maria Luisa Park, host of the World Expo in 1992. In the Plaza de Espana, admire the porcelain illustrations embodying the history and elegance of medieval Spain.
Day 4 Seville - Lisbon
On Day 4 we'll visit Lisbon, the Portugal's capital and largest city. We'll make a special stop at Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca), then head to Lisbon city center to visit Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery. We'll pass through Marquis of Pombal Square and then stop at Rossio Square for some free time.
Day 5 Lisbon - Toledo - Madrid
We'll drive back to Madrid via Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986. We'll visit the grand structure of Toledo Cathedral overlooking the Alcazar of Toledo. Later, take a well-earned rest. Sit back and take in the breathtaking landscapes of Spain while we make our way back to Madrid.
Day 6 Madrid - Zaragoza
We begin our day with a sightseeing tour of Madrid, the capital of Spain. From the motorcoach you will see Cibeles Fountain, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Espana, Plaza de Colon, and the Royal Palace of Madrid, ultimately arriving at Puerta del Sol. Later in the afternoon, we'll say farewell to Madrid and drive to Zaragoza.
Day 7 Zaragoza - Barcelona
From the hotel in or near Zaragoza we'll drive to Barcelona, where you will see the Columbus Monument, La Rambla, and Sagrada Familia from the exterior. Then it's time for Camp Nou, the FC Barcelona, Football Stadium (admission not included). Afterward we'll visit Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, the main stadium for the 1992 Summer Olympics, at Montjuic.
