    Itinerary: Everest Base Camp Trekking

    Day 1 Kathmandu Arrival (1,350m/4,428ft)

    Arrival at Tribhuvan International airport Meet at the airport outside the arrival terminal gate by our representative. You will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Kathmandu.

    Day 2 Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

    Half-day tour of the old Kathmandu city, its Durbar square, and the myriad of temples including the temple residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari. Proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa. Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa which is said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offers a bird’s eye view of Kathmandu City. In the afternoon, take a tour to Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the “city of beauty” and the oldest city in the valley. This is a great center both for the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples.     Day 3 Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft): 40 minutes flight, 3 – 4 hours trek

    We take an early morning flight to Lukla and meet the rest of the crew members in Lukla and start our trek. The trail then leads to Phakding via Cheplung village from where we get a magnificent view of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been summited. Overnight at Phakding Included meals:Breakfast/Lunch/ Dinner

    Day 4 Phakding – Namche (3,438m/11,280 ft): 5 – 6 hours

    We continue our walk on the trail that goes north up the Benkar valley. We cross Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo villages leading the entrance to the Everest National Park. Then we pass Jorsale village crossing a suspension bridge and walk alongside the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. We continue our trek ascending on a steep trail and reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar Included meals: Breakfast /Lunch/ Dinner

    Day 5 Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284 ft)

    We explore Namche Bazaar and hike up to Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, and so on. If you are interested in a day hike, we can trek to Khumjung village. Overnight in Namche Bazaar Included meals: Breakfast/ Lunch /Dinner

    Day 6 Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694 ft): 5- 6 hours

    The trek to Phunki is an easy walk. From here, we ascend towards Tengboche village exploring the famous Tengboche monastery which is the biggest monastery of the Everest region. It is located within the Sagarmatha National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monastery is blessed with panoramic views of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. The Tengboche Monastery opens at 3:00 pm, so if we reach the place by 3 o’clock we can observe a Buddhist religious ceremony. Overnight in Tengboche Included meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

    Day 7 Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 5 – 6 hours

    We walk downhill to Debuche and cross the Imja River to reach Pangboche. The trek continues passing through the upper Pangboche trail and explore the Pangboche Monastery. We continue our walk to Dingboche via Imja Valley and Lobuche River. Ovenight at Dingboche Included meals: Breakfast/Lunch /Dinner

    Day 8 Dingboche: Acclimatization

    Spending a day in Dingboche will help us to acclimatize to the high altitude. We can spend time hiking to a hill about four hours behind Dingboche to view the world’s tallest peaks including Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Overnight at Dingboche Included meals: Breakfast/Lunch /Dinner

    Day 9 Dingboche – Lobuche 4,900 m

    The trek continues, walking around 7 hours (9 km) along the Himalayan trail and heading towards the famous base camp of the world’s tallest peak while exploring the breathtaking and magnificent view of the mountains. The trail then continues via Dughla pass to the mountain village of Lobuche for the overnight stay. Included meals: Breakfast/Lunch /Dinner

    Day 10 Lobuche – Gorak Shep 5160 m – Everest Base Camp 5365 m

    Today we continue our trek to Everest Base camp, walking for nearly 12 hours (17 km) to Gorakshep. After reaching Gorakshep, check in at the lodge, have lunch, and walk to the base camp to enjoy the amazing views of Nuptse, Khumbuste, and Pumori mountains. Then we walk back to Gorakshep from the base camp for an overnight stay. Included meals:Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

    Day 11 Gorakshep – Kala Pathar 5555 meters – Pheriche 4200 m

    After an early breakfast, we walk up to the highest point of the trek, Kalapatthar, for a magnificent viewpoint of the world’s tallest mountain, Mt. Everest, and several other mountains like Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse mountains. It takes about three hours to reach the top. After spending some time at the summit of Kala Patthar, we walk back to Gorak Shep for lunch which is relatively easier than hiking up to Kala Pathhar. After lunch, we hike down to Pheriche to spend the night. Included meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

    Day 12 Pheriche – Tyangboche -3800 m

    Today we trek down to Tyangboche, walking around 4 hours (9 km). Overnight at Tyangboche Included meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

    Day 13 Tyangboche – Monjo – 2800 m

    Day 13: Tyangboche – Monjo – 2800 m We trek from Tyangboche to Monjo via Namche Bazaar, walking around 6 hours (14 km). Included meals: Breakfast/Lunch /Dinner

    Day 14 Monjo – Lukla – 2,800 m

    We continue our trek to Lukla, walking around 6 hours (12km) and stay overnight. Included meals: Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner

    Day 15 Lukla – Kathmandu 1400 m

    We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. We take you for a cultural dinner in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu Included meals: Breakfast/Dinner

    Day 16 Departure

    Our driver will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport for your international flight. Have a safe journey! Included meals: Breakfast
