Additionally, having a local guide was a real highlight for some travelers, bringing the area to life from a modern perspective as well as a historical one.

Safety is often another concern for travelers to Israel, and most reviewers said that being on a tour they generally felt safer than they would have otherwise. It was also a way they could experience more local life than if they had been traveling on their own.
