    Upper Mustang Trek starts and ends in Kathmandu. With a 19-days tour package taking you through hiking & trekking 10 other destinations in Nepal. Upper Mustang Trek is a small group tour that includes accommodation in a hotel as well as flights, transport and more. It takes you through the off trail path to the hidden kingdom of Mustang valley. The terrain and desert type vegetation in those region let you experience the indo-Tibetan culture followed by people and similar vegetation in the area. Upper Mustang was a restricted area till 1992 for foreign visitors and outsiders. Today, foreigners are allowed but can only enter Upper Mustang after they buy a special permit . The trip to Mustang is only arranged by licensed trekking companies of Nepal. Note: At least 2 people are required for this trek

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive Duration: 5-6 hours

Accommodation: Overnight in Hotel White Pearl or similar

Driving duration: 5-6 hours. Our trekking guide will pick you up and transfer to the hotel in a private vehicle. On the way, you will enjoy the beautiful landscapes and mountains. You can visit lakeside Pokhara and stroll through the streets of Pokhara.

Day 4: Flight from Pokhara to Jomsom (2743 m) & Trek to Kagbeni (2804 m) flight duration: 25 minutes & hiking duration: 2 hours

Day 5: Kagbeni to Chele (3050 m) hiking duration: 7-8 hours

Accommodation: Overnight in best available local lodge

Today you will commence your trek from Kagbeni. After walking for some time, you will see the caves on the west hand side and the Gompa Kang. You will have a good climb to Tangebe (3060  m), a labyrinth of narrow alleyways. Here you will find the typical Mustang Chortens painted in black, white and red colours. Now, Chele is just two hours walking from here.

Day 6: Chele to Syangbochen (3820 m) hiking duration: 7-8 hours

With the dream of reaching the extremely new world near Nepal - Tibet border, you start the trek. The journey to Syangbochen commences from Chele. Here, you will pass through summer pass on the way.

Day 11: Ghami to Samar (3540 m), hiking duration: 7-8 hours

Day 12: Samar to Muktinath (3600 m) / Kagbeni (2804 m) hiking duration: 7-8 hours
