Itinerary

Day 1 Your safari starts with a touch down at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta Airport. Our driver-guide will transfer to Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Masai Mara If you have a late-night flight or an early morning arrival, we can arrange for your accommodation in Nairobi to unwind and relax before your departure to Masai Mara at an extra cost (enquire upon booking). On arrival in Masai Mara, you will be met by our Masai guide for transfer to Eagle View in Mara Naboisho. Mara Naboisho is a community-owned nature conservancy bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve. The seemingly endless plains of Mara Naboisho are dotted with wildebeests, zebras among other wildlife. Arrive at Eagle View in time for lunch. You will have some time to settle into your tented room before joining your guide on a late evening game drive for an exciting game viewing adventure. Day 2 Spend the day partaking in various safari activities. Start the day with an early morning game drive when many wildlife species are most active. Later return to camp for a hearty breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure enjoying natural warmth and astounding views from our private decks. We have a collection of interesting safari books to keep you entertained. After lunch, head out on your afternoon game drive safari, trying to see species you’ve yet to encounter. Extend your safari adventure into the twilight and spot some of the fascinating nocturnal creatures. Back at camp enjoy dinner as you share tales from your day with fellow guests. Day 3 Join your guide for an early morning walking safari. A walking safari with the true safari specialists, the Maasai, brings out the intricate details of nature’s beautiful landscape. Experience how the Maasai people live in the middle of the bush with plains game grazing and lions roaring just outside their homes and learn about their culture and customs.  In the afternoon visit our community project – Koiyaki Guiding School where young Maasai’s learn about conservation and wildlife guiding skills. Later you will be transferred to Leopard Hill with a game drive en-route. Arrive at the camp for dinner set in our stylish dining tent offering inspiring views of the savannah and the mystical double fig tree. End your day with a stargazing experience right inside your tent where you have a retractable roof that gently slides back for a perfect nightly scene. Day 4 Wake up at dawn to an array of optional safari activities including an early morning self-instructed yoga, morning game drive safari, or a walking safari. As the camp is situated in a private conservancy the number of camps and vehicles here is strictly limited, offering an exclusive safari experience. After an adventurous day on the savannah, enjoy a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating massage on your private tent terrace or in their tent combining the best safari experience with luxury and exclusivity(at an extra cost book with reception). Day 5 Make the most of your last day engaging in s either a morning game drive or a guided walking safari for the better part of the morning before heading back to camp for breakfast.  After breakfast have a laid back break as you pack your personal belongings. In the afternoon bid your Maasai host goodbye. Your transfer to the airstrip will include a game drive en-route so keep your camera ready as never know when the lion cubs may turn up! Reach the Naboisho Air Strip in time for your scheduled afternoon flight, the perfect departure time for international connections.
