Cancellation policy

Cancellations and Refunds

All requests for cancellations and applicable refunds must be made in writing, sent to and received by Chile Nativo LTDA. Depending within the cancelling dates; the following are the amounts that will be refunded to you.

75 days and over= 100% (minus booking fee) ***

74-61 days prior to trip start = 75% of the trip cost

60-46 days = 50% of the trip cost

45 days or less = no refund

***Set departure trips: USD $200 per person booking fee

***Private tailor made trips: USD $500 per person booking fee

In the event of a cancellation of 44 days or less, no money will be refunded to the client.

Note: At Chile Nativo LTDA’s discretion, and upon availability and with written request by the client, cancellations under 44 days will be considered if the client would like to change the date of the trip for a later one, subject to availability during the same year and at equal or greater value of the original trip booked. Some additional fees may be charged. No refunds will be issued for unused services at any time. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. In the event that a guest must leave the trip early, we require written notification and explanation within 15 days of the departure from the trip.

Chile Nativo LTDA is entitled to cancel services up to 75 days in advance prior to trip start date if:

The minimum number of full paying members in not met. (A full refund of trip cost including the booking fees will be provided).

Cancellation or compensation payments do not apply due to “Force Majeure,” that is, unusual events and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Chile Nativo LTDA or its sub-contractors for events that occur such as war, strikes, riots, terrorist activity or threats, natural disasters, climate conditions or fire, environmental emergencies, transport changes in airline companies, boaters and land carriers, changes in providers, etc.

Chile Nativo LTDA is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled trip. For this reason we strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance

Weather and Temperature Chart

The weather in Patagonia in an important factor that must b e taken into account. The maximum temperature in summer is 20 C° and it drops to below 0° in winter. The windchill factor sometimes makes the ambient temperature drop 6 or 7 degrees. The temperature of the water is normally between 4 and 5 degrees Celsius.
