Blue Lagoon Experience Comfort The Blue Lagoon, Iceland’s unique natural pool of mineral-rich geothermal water, located in the middle of a lava field in the pure, beautiful Icelandic wilderness, is not to be missed. A combination of fresh and sea water of 100-110°F, surrounded by magnificent mountain ranges, is ideal for wading and soaking in the shallow 3-5 foot waters, (swimming not required), while the air temperature ranges from 25-55°F. The facility is a modern building with clean changing rooms and showers, skin care facility, and gift shop. Included in your price are entrance to the Blue Lagoon, use of towel, silica mud mask and first drink of your choice. Food is available in snack bars and fine dining restaurants on site; plus a selection of smoothies, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased in the Lagoon Bar, so there’s no need to leave the water! Upgrades to the Premium Package can be booked upon check in at the Blue Lagoon. The Premium package includes all features of the Comfort Package with the addition of an algae mask and the use of a bathrobe and slippers. Children under 2 are not permitted in the Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon optional tour may not be available to book locally. In order to guarantee availability, you must pre-book this tour at least 8 days prior to your departure. Time will be advised when you receive your documents. Please be ready at your pick-up point 15 minutes prior to your tour’s departure time. Approximate tour duration is 5 hours. Drop off to be advised locally. OnDay : 3 Price : $129 Full Day South Shore Adventure The South Shore Adventure tour visits the amazing southern coast of Iceland, famous for its black sand coastline and stunning scenery. The first stop of the day is at the majestic and much-photographed Skógafoss waterfall. The thundering falls plummet nearly 200 feet over a cliff to the valley floor. Next, continue to the the charming village of Vik, with free time for lunch on your own. Continue to Dyrhólaey Nature Reserve where you get a beautiful view of the coastline. Finish your full day excursion at the gorgeous Seljalandsfoss waterfall which you can walk behind if conditions allow (Bring a raincoat!) Approximate tour duration is 10 hours.
