The compulsory local payment will be paid when you join the trip. All prices are based on double, twin or triple share occupancy. Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

Rumit Mehta the Founder Born in Kenya of Indian descent & raised in Tanzania, Rumit Mehta has a love for Africa that is unmatched. Despite living in the urban jungle of New York City, he still manages to return to Africa and India both for family visits and by request from many of his clients. Rumit grew up leading safaris for friends and colleagues where he refined his keen wildlife spotting skills in the bush.
Originally trained as an architect, Rumit worked in the design and construction industry for 13 years while at the same time dabbling in travel planning for select clients. Very soon, the travel bug caught on and after much deliberation he decided to do it on a full time basis as it was more exciting than visiting muddy construction sites. As they say, the rest is history…
An avid thrill seeker, Rumit plays a pivotal role in developing custom itineraries for luxury and academic clients leveraging a wealth of knowledge and professional networks in both Africa and South Asia to design complex itineraries. With his deep knowledge of the hospitality industry, he is frequently invited as a guest speaker at business and academic forums. We must receive your cancellation notice in writing by email, fax, or overnight courier, and your cancellation date will be the date on which we receive your notice. Simultaneously with your notice, you must pay the following cancellation charge ased upon the amount of notice provided. In addition, airline cancellation policies shall apply for cancelled tours involving air transportation:
- Penalty of $550 per person , if Number of Days Advance Notice is sixty-one (61) days or more
- Penalty of 50 percent (50%) , if Number of Days Advance Notice is Between twenty-one (21) and sixty (60) days
- Penalty of One hundred percent (100%) , if Number of Days Advance Notice is Less than twenty-one (21) days
There is no refund for unused portions of a tour once it has commenced, and you are solely responsible for costs incurred by you due to missed, canceled or delayed transportation. Your decision not to participate on the tour due to State Department warnings, fear of travel, illness or any other reason will be deemed a cancellation. If a flight or other delay for any reason prevents you from joining the tour on the tour departure date and time, you will be considered a no-show, and we cannot provide a full or partial refund or credit toward a future tour, but you may join the tour late if you wish.
