Sasaab Lodge | Samburu National Reserve Sasaab is close to the Buffalo Springs National Reserves, in Kenya’s Northern Frontier District. It is a place of rich natural diversity with an astounding number of animals from the huge majestic elephant to lion, leopard, cheetah and the Samburu Special Five which are the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Gerenuk antelope and Somali ostrich. The architecture of Sasaab follows strong Moroccan design principles, in which African heat is of primary consideration. Each of the Moroccan styled rooms is equipped with an enormous open-air bathroom and private plunge pool. From the veranda, guests can take in the remarkable views across the Laikipia Plateau toward the jagged peak of Mount Kenya. Andbeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp | Masai Mara National Reserve And Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is situated in the Kichwa Tembo private concession, which neighbours the Masai Mara National Reserve. In addition to the excellent year-round concentration of wildlife, Kichwa Tembo lies directly in the path of Africa’s spectacular Great Migration. The camp boasts 12 classic tents, 20 superior tents and eight superior view tents. While all the tents look out onto the open grasslands or the shady forest surrounding the Sabaringo River, the superior view tents boast exceptionally beautiful, uninterrupted views of the Masai Mara.The generously sized swimming pool is set among the trees and surrounded by lush lawns and spectacular views.
