Your winter adventure in the Northwest Territories starts in Yellowknife where you will board a bush plane for a scenic 25-minute flight to Blachford Lake. Accessible by bush plane only, Blachford Lake is located north of the East Arm of Great Slave Lake. A winter wonderland awaits you when you arrive at this fly-in wilderness resort: wide vistas over the 17-km frozen lake, snow-covered boreal forest, cozy indoor spaces and fresh northern air. Ice fishing is also available, but please note that fishing licences must be purchased prior to arrival.
