This tour is part of our longer Southern Africa Cape to Falls safari so you will not meet your guide until you join the longer tour on day 2 in Sesriem.
Windhoek - Sesriem. On day 2 travel south to our camp located on the edge of the Namib Desert. The following morning is an early departure for Sossusvlei, stopping in the dune belt to witness the changing colours of the world’s highest sand dunes. We enjoy a leisurely 5km walk to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. In the afternoon we take a short hike through the Sesriem Canyon.
Sesriem - Swakopmund. Heading north we reach the coast at Walvis Bay and enjoy lunch while viewing the many flamingos feeding. We arrive in Swakopmund and spend the afternoon and following morning exploring this German colonial town or booking one of the numerous optional excursions (own expense). Activities available include dolphin cruises, scenic flights over the vast Namib and many more.
Swakopmund - Spitzkoppe Mountains. Leaving Swakopmund after lunch we set up camp among the boulders of the Spitzkoppe Mountains. The afternoon is free to explore the stunning surrounding area on foot. The spectacular setting of our remote bushcamp is sure to leave a lasting impression.
Spitzkoppe Mountains - Etosha National Park. On day 7 we travel to Etosha, Namibia's flagship national park. This Park is one of the most important reserves and game sanctuaries in Africa with thousands of wild animals such as blue wildebeest, springbok, zebra, kudu, ...
Etosha National Park - Rundu. Today we travel to Rundu on the banks of the picturesque Okavango River. Our camp is set amongst the lush vegetation overlooking the river.
Rundu - Okavango Delta (Botswana). Continuing further into the Caprivi on day 10 we cross into Botswana and drive to our camp on the edge of the Okavango Delta. The following day we embark on mokoro & boat excursions in the back channels of the Nxamasire area of the delta. Game walks are also included on the smaller islands in the area, subject to the water levels of the delta.
Okavango Delta - Chobe National Park. We travel through the Caprivi Strip in Namibia on day 12 before crossing back into Botswana via Chobe National Park to our camp on the banks of the Chobe River. The next day we go in search of wildlife on a morning game drive in Chobe National Park and enjoy a sunset game viewing cruise on the Chobe River.
Chobe River - Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). We cross the border into Zimbabwe today and travel on to Victoria Falls. The afternoon is free for you to visit the spectacular Victoria Falls and enjoy some of the optional activities on offer in Africa's adrenalin capital. Perhaps enjoy a helicopter ride over the falls, or visit Livingstone Island (book and pay locally).
Our African adventure comes to an end after breakfast and hotel check out today. A departure transfer to Victoria Falls Airport is included. We can also book post tour accommodation upon request.

Tour Operator
Escaping a cold London winter back in 1998, we followed the sun for a colourful adventure around the world. Discovering amazing history, interesting cultures and the jaw-dropping beauty of our planet, the friends we made along the way made our journey all the more special. Inspired to share our experiences, the seeds were sown and On The Go Tours was born.
Over the years we’ve grown into a small yet global company, with a purposeful local ethos. True to our own travels, authenticity is core to our holidays. We’d love you to experience a country the way it really is, with people who live there and know it inside out. We know this makes the difference between a great holiday and a truly memorable one. Our carefully sought out English-speaking local guides are passionate about sharing their country with you and we believe that they are amongst the best in the business.
We know too that adventure feels better with a chilled beer poolside or a soft pillow at the end of each day and we search out comfortable hotels and boutique properties for your stay. As we love to say - travel with us and adventure in style!
Unbeatable value: Combining authentic local experiences with an excellent range of 3-5 star hotels & boutique properties, our tours represent unbeatable value. Add in airport transfers, passionate tour guides and all transportation and you do get the best of adventure travel and creature comforts too.
Great group size: With an average of 15 and a maximum of 24, our group size really works well on tour, so you’re bound to meet like-minded travellers and make lasting friendships. Our festival tours do have larger group sizes due to their ‘one-off’ nature.
100% Guaranteed: Not only are all our group tour departures 100% guaranteed, we are also fully financially bonded, so you can book our tours with absolute confidence. We’re proud to say that we recently won 2 prestigious British Travel Awards and were runner up for another 3, testament to the quality of our holidays.
