Day 1: Embark the m/v Tere Moana in Philipsburg, St. Maarten

The smallest island in the world to have been partitioned between two nations (France and the Netherlands), St. Martin/St. Maarten has prospered in peaceful coexistence for almost 350 years. Today, this tiny isle is big on activities. Enjoy watersports, visit the Zoological Botanical Garden, play a round of golf, or visit the historic courthouse, built in 1793.

Day 2-9: At Sea

The Moana was designed as a cozy home away from home, making it the ideal vessel for a transatlantic journey. During these unencumbered days, indulge in a massage at the onboard spa, enjoy a workout at the fitness center, take a dip in the pool, or curl up on a Balinese bed on the Sun Deck with a book from our onboard library.

Day 10: Santa Cruz de La Palma (Canary Islands), Spain

Seven islands make up the Canary Islands, and Santa Cruz de la Palma, where we’ll stop today, is the northwestern most. It’s big on charm, with a mountainous backdrop along the east coast, elegant colonial architecture, and a cobbled promenade lined with shops and cafés.

Day 11: Madeira, Portugal

Considered one of two of the world’s most beautiful places to arrive by ship (the other being Rio de Janeiro), Madeira is dressed to impress, with exquisite scenery, year-round blooming flowers, and balmy breezes.

Day 12: At Sea

Enjoy one more day at sea onboard The Moana, a perfect opportunity to take advantage of some of the ship’s amenities that you haven’t yet discovered.

Day 14: Lisbon, Portugal

Lisbon is Portugal’s capital and largest city, and is also one of the oldest cities in the world, making it the perfect place to brush up on your European history. Lisbon was the departure point for Portuguese explorers during the 15th century’s  “Age of Discovery,” and the city’s monuments to this era, including the Tower of Belém, offer stunning views.
