Our 5 day progressive surf course at surf camp will have you well prepared for the waves in Byron. This course includes surfing lessons every day and is designed for absolute beginners. We teach paddling, standing up, dropping into waves and riding across them. Plus surf etiquette and board design.

The total tour cost includes the tour price (regular or promotional) and the compulsory local payment. The promotional price is subject to change. Check directly with the operator for the latest price offer. The tour operator requires you to pay only the tour price to purchase your travel. The compulsory local payment will be paid when you join the trip. All prices are based on double, twin or triple share occupancy. Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

We have been introducing beginner surfers to the sport of surfing since 1999. Through this experience we have refined our learn to surf programme to offer the best beginner surf lessons – available anywhere.
Our multi-day beginner progressive surfing lessons are for everyone. We teach paddling, standing up, dropping into waves and riding across them. You can expect to stand up and ride your first wave in the first day.

SCA reserves the right to cancel any trip in which case a full refund will be made. Any change of date outside of 1WEEK from trip commencement will incur a $100 administration fee per person. Non attendance or cancellations less than 1WEEK prior to trip commencement – no refund will be given. Any change of date later than 1WEEK prior to trip commencement is treated as a cancellation.

Surf Gear
At Surfcamp you will use our warm and comfortable Rip Curl wetsuits and custom designed beginner surfboards. All equipment is current technology and in excellent condition. A full range of wetsuit and surfboard sizes are available. SPF 30+ water resistant sunscreen is also provided. Test your new skills with a selection of Hard Boards in Byron Bay !
Transport
Luxury, air-conditioned coach transportation is provided for all of your travel Sydney > Surfcamp > Byron Bay. Trip finishes in Byron Bay.
Nightlife
Enjoy a drink over the sunset at the local pub with ocean views, up the road from Surfcamp. Byron Bay is a haven for young travellers, popular for it’s vibrant nightlife. The accommodation is only a short walk from local pubs, bars and clubs. There is always plenty of quiet space for those looking for a chilled-out experience.
