Day 01. Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters) and you will be met & greeted by our airport representative who will be on standby to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. Your evening is free and overnight at hotel (A).. Day 02.Full day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley & an orientation: After having breakfast at the hotel, we take you for the sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley; you will be escorted by a professional tour guide. Your tour will include Kathmandu Durbar Square, Monkey Temple - Swayambhunath (note, there are real monkeys down here & they can be a pain in the neck, especially if you are munching something while climbing the steps to the temple; whatever your munching could vanish from your hands in seconds if you’re not careful. The best way to appease these monkeys is by buying some bananas from vendors just by the roadside to the temple & distribute them on your way up, they’d be happy & leave you alone). Pashupatinath Temple and Bauddhanath Stupa. The Pashupatinath is a significant place of visit, because this is a heritage site & is the most important religious site for Hindus in Nepal & India. Within the boundaries of this temple are cremation zones where the bodies of Nepalese, right from the pauper on the streets to the king of Nepal were cremated at this old temple. In the early evening we get back to our hotel & refresh after which your trek leader will meet the group & orient you on the whole program related to your trip. You will even have sufficient time to buy some trek gear if you need any in thamel area. Overnight at Hotel (A, B) Day 03.Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m) and Trek to Phakding (2610m) - 3.5 hours-: Early in the morning, we drive to Kathmandu airport for the 35 minutes scenic flight to the small mountain airport at Lukla, after reaching Lukla,our guide will introduce you with the porters, then start today’s trekking following mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi, it is easy trekking and takes about 3 and half hour to reach at Phakding , Overnight at lodge. (A, B, L, D) Day 04.Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) - 6 Hours: After having breakfast at the lodge, we will start our trekking, we will follow the Dudh Koshi River and, after crossing it few times we will enter the Sagarmatha National park in Jorsale and we will stop there for lunch. Again, we continue the trekking to reach Namche Bazaar.After a few hours walking Namche Bazar will appear ahead as you travel along the path surrounded by pine trees. Pass the plateau where the Saturday bazaar is held and enter the village. Namche Bazar (3440m) is surrounded on three sides by mountain ranges and opens out only where it faces the Duch Koshi Koshi. The village is a central hub of the area and food, sundries and even mountain climbing equipment may be purchased here, overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D). Day 05.Rest day at Namche Bazaar (3440 m) for acclimatization: Namche is tucked away between two ridges amidst the giant peaks of the Khumbu and has an abundance of lodges, tea shops and souvenir shops as well as a magnificent outlook. It is an ideal place to spend a rest day for acclimatization to the high altitude before heading off towards Tyangboche. For the acclimatization, we walk up to Khumjung village through Everest view Hotel in Syangbuche and you will see the beautiful view of the Himalayas including Mt.Everest and many other giants. Khumjung is densely populated by Sherpa community and there is an old monastery and Hillary’s schools as well so, we will visit them and return to Namche, Overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D). Day 06.Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tyangboche (3867 m.) - 5 Hours: After having breakfast at the lodge, we start our trekking with the ridge and level mountain path that offers excellent panoramas of Thamserku, Kantega, and Kusum Kangaru, after walking few hours on flat Zigzags; we descend to the river and arrive at Phunki Tenga where will have a short break for lunch. Then we climb through Rhododendron forest to the Tengboche, a view seeing the Himalayas including Mt. Everest and many other beautiful mountains. We will visit the Tengboche Monastery in the evening, Overnight at the lodge. (A, B, L, D) Day 07.Trek from Tyangboche to Dingboche (4260 m.)- 5 Hours: After having breakfast at the lodge, we start our trekking with descending through Rhododendron forest to the Imja Khola and cross exciting suspension bridge on the Imja Khola and walk passing by a long Mani stone wall to enter the village of Pangboche. Our route continues through summer pastures to Dingboche .Overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D) Day 08.Rest day at Dingboche (4260 m.) for acclimatization: Today is the remarkable acclimatization day. There are some breathtaking views of the North face of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse . You have options of walking and climbing some small hills surrounding for the acclimatization and overnight at lodge. (A, B, L, D). Day 09.Trek from Dingboche to Chukum- 3 Hours: After having breakfast at the lodge, we start our trekking and it is pleasant walking/trekking just for 3 hours to Chukum and we will have walking around the Chukum Valley as well then we will have to be ready for our first pass Kongma la, Overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D). Day 10.Trek from Ckukum- Kongma la passes-Lobuche- 8 hours: After having breakfast and packing some packed lunch for the day, we start our trekking quite early in the morning as we will have quite long and tiring day, we head directly west out of Chukhung on a small, rocky trail and contour around many hillsides, usually not very steeply, until we reach the Pokalden Base Camp. After a few other hills, more steeps, we will reach another Base Camp for Pokalden and a clear blue lake which sits just below the pass. We climb the last half an hour on a trail which is good but looks impossibly built into the cliff-side and head to the Lobuche, overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D). Day 11.Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp via Gorakshep (m.) -7 Hours: After having breakfast at the lodge, we start our trekking following the rocky moraine path, view icy glacial pond and icebergs down below of Khumbu glacier. After the last rocky moraine dunes, a short downhill walk brings you to Gorakshep, where we will stop for lunch and we leave all our stuff there at lodge as this is the last place where there are lodge available – then we start our Himalayan journey to the Everest Base camp for another 3 hours and reach EVEREST BASE CAMP- WOW!!! Congratulation!!! Your Dream come true now, after visiting sometime in the Base Camp, we return to Gorekshep, Overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D). Day 12.Trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and trek to Zongla- 5 Hours: Early morning, we will climb the Kala Patthar (5545m.) and enjoy the view of sunrise in the Himalayas including Everest. We will have a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and many other mountain peaks like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more from the Kalapattar then we return to Kalapattar to have breakfast and will continue our trekking to Zongla for about 4 hours, overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D). Day 13.Trek from Zongla to Thannak- 9 Hours: After having breakfast at lodge, we start our trekking early morning as we are going cross the Cho La pass (5370m), a steep and somewhat difficult ascent of a rocky ridge a few hours. We start by crossing a small glacial stream, and then start climbing up the pass. From the top, we are treated to views of Ama Dablam, Kantaiega, Thamserku, Taboche, Cholatse and Baruntse, and to Nangpai Gosain, Pasang Lhamo, Numbur and on the Gokyo side. Once up on top of the glaciated pass, we trek across the snow, with Lobuche, West looming above us, to the summit and hang some Buddhist prayer flags to send prayers out across the Himalayas, it's a scramble back down the pass, a rocky, hilly trail across the valley, and a descent to the yak kharka of Tangnak, Overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D). Day 14.Trek from Thannak to Gokyo- 4 Hours: After having breakfast at lodge, we start our trekking in the morning by crossing the Ngozumpa Glacier on a sandy, shifting trail, the frozen lakes creaking below and beside us as we turn our way to the other side. Once back on the main trail to Gokyo, we have an hour's hike past the second lake to the lodge at Gokyo. In the Gokyo valley, the character of the trekking changes abruptly. The opaque powder-blue lakes are often on the verge of freezing over, and sometimes perform a Himalayan symphony of expanding and retracting ice. We have entered the grassy ablation valley running beside the Ngozumpa Glacier, and have our first sight of Gokyo, a seasonal village and grazing area built beside the third and biggest lake. Gokyo has become something of a Himalayan resort without the crowd – at least in terms of the comfortable lodges with sunrooms, unbeatable views, excellent food and warm stoves. It is a great base to explore from, and we have plenty of time for it, overnight at Lodge. ( A, B, L, D). Day 15. Gokyo Ri and excursion around Gokyo valley & Lake: We will climb the Gokyo Ri in the early morning to see the sunrise view and will return to Gokyo and walk and excursion around the Valley and the lake, Gokyo is a trade centre where the Sherpa people run lodges to provide the best services to the trekkers. Gokyo is situated by the side of Ngozumpa glacier, the biggest glacier of Nepal. Overnight at lodge, (A, B, L, D) Day 16.Trek form Gokyo- Renjo Pass (5345m)- Lunde - 7 Hours: Early morning after breakfast, we will start our trekking and climb Renjo la pass. This is a really nice high pass in Everest region and being more popular in these days. In last few years, this area is only possible in Camping/tented basis trek, which is now possible with lodge trek too. Overnight at Lodge. ( A, B, L, D). Day 17.Trek from Lunde to Thame- 4 hours: After having breakfast at lodge, we start our trekking and It is Easy trekking down to Thame for a few hours visit thame and overnight at lodge.( A, B, L, D) Day 18.Trek form Thame to Namche Bazaar- 4 Hours: After having breakfast at lodge, we start our trekking and continue our trekking to Namche following the flat and descending to first resting place Thamo after heading towards to Namche bazaar, Overnight at Lodge. ( A, B, L, D) Day 19.Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.)- 6 Hours: After having breakfast at lodge, we start our trekking and today is the last day of your trekking, The trekking is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote-Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla, Overnight at Lodge. (A, B, L, D) Day 20. Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. We will take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu, Free time/shopping/Relax, Shopping- Overnight at hotel. ( A, B). Day 21- Leisure day in Kathmandu. It's also spare day in case of bad weather in Lukla and we could not fly on scheduled date and time, or we can organize you a day tour in or around Kathmandu, shopping tour etc: or we can remove this extra day from the tour itinerary if you do not want it so, contact us and consult about options available for the day. And we will offer farewell dinner in the evening, overnight at hotel. (A, B) Day 22.Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure. You will be transferred to the international airport for your final departure to your loving home.
