What's this trip about?

The region of Langtang is easily accessible from Kathmandu and the Langtang valley is close to Tibetan border. A chance to find yourself in a lushly forested region and sample Tibetan culture and lifestyle intermingling with Nepali culture. Astounding views of glaciers and peaks. Buddhist culture is very well preserved here. Depending on your itinerary combination, you may also visit the highly revered Gosaikund Lake. Despite its easy accessibility, it is less trekked area. Getting There Situated 19 miles north of Kathmandu, it is an 6 ½ hour drive  to the starting point of the trek at Syabru Bensi. The trek itself can vary from 7 days to 20 days depending on how vigorous or strenuous walking or trekking you choose to go about it. Why embark on this trek ? Apart from the stunning views of mountains, glaciers, rivers and waterfalls and the inherent Tibetan and Buddhist culture, this trek is appealing because of its easy accessibility and the fact that it is a less trekked area; unlike other popular trekking destinations. Plus you have the option to visit the equally captivating Helambu and the sacred Gosaikund Lake – a mecca for Buddhists and Hindus alike. One can also take a peek into Tibet.
