Tortuguero National Park Landmarks

Our guide was excellent, catering for both older and youngest generation. Juan Carlos, our guide, produced a splendid birthday treat for our our 10 year old grand daughter. Cheese and chocolate presentations excellent. Cooking making tortillas was a "nothing" .We missed going to the Agrinomico Research centre., and somehow missed going to butterfly farm and frog pools but our programme was very busy. Not wanting to appear too picky, it was an excellent holiday.

Great trip. Saw loads of wildlife

This was a holiday of a lifetime and ticked a few things off the bucket list. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and we stayed at several great accommodations with stunning scenery. With so much to see there is a fair amount of travelling to do but this is broken up with so many interesting places to visit. We saw a Quetzal near the path on one of our walks and this was just one of many amazing encounters with the local wildlife. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the country and always on the lookout for the local wildlife so we did not miss anything. The White water rafting was a highlight and if you have the chance of zip wiring through the treetops go for it.

Our guide Diego was great , lots of fun but could have been a little bit more informative about next day itinerary’s .

Our guide Oscar was outstanding in his knowledge and commitment to making sure that we saw as much wildlife as possible .
I also loved the experience of whitewater rafting.
