"My experience with TruTravels has been one of the best travel experiences to date. I was a little concerned about having a small group - but the tour leaders have made every activity fun and engaging. I would definitely say they are friends. The organisation and local knowledge was great, they were great fun whilst remaining professional and in control. The nights out in Canggu were great, getting to meet the other tour leaders and Tru staff meeting the other tour groups is a great idea. "Before I start I need to make clear that this is my view not necessarily the same as yours. I am a retired widower who enjoys a bit of walking, good food, good wine and meeting new people in small groups. This Explore trip of walking some of the Amalfi Coast fulfilled my requirements and in many ways exceeded my expectations. I like to think I’m fairly relaxed about life and do not expect perfection so if after a long day’s walking I arrive back at the hotel to discover that there’s a problem with the hot water I’m not that bothered, I can order a beer and relax in the terrace while the world sorts itself out. No problem. My fellow travellers thankfully held the same opinion others might not. Our guide was Gennaro, a local man with a great knowledge of his own part of the world which he proudly shared with us. It’s true that you only really know how good a guide you have is when there’s a problem thankfully his skills in that area were never tested but from the manner he he dealt with the day to day management he had my total confidence. I had a great trip and would do it again if there weren’t so many other places I want see."

  • Prague is fairly easy to see in 1 to 2 days, and easily navigable. Many tours of the wider Czech Republic dedicate some time to explore the city with free time.
  • History, both modern and ancient, is prevalent everywhere in Prague. Taking a guided walking tour will reveal much about the city and the Czech culture, which is a fascinating mix from many Central European sources and time periods.
  • If you'd like to visit Prague as well as other pivotal European cities in one trip, a river cruises along the Elbe is a great option!
