Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Paro-Bhutan, drive to Thimphu

Arrival in Paro and then you will have a scenic drive to Thimpu and hotel check-in. Afternoon you will be heading to Thimphu’s open-air archery venue, to see the country’s national sport.

Day 2 : Sightseeing in Thimpu

Immerse yourself in the scenic nature, JigmeDorjiWangchuk Park walks and then hike to Tango Monastery. At noon, you will be visiting the Buddha viewpoint, art school, and weekend market. In the evening you will stroll around the streets.

Day 3 : Thimphu to Punakha

You will be visiting beautiful temples at Dochula pass and also visit the royal botanical garden at Lamperi that will offer you the magnificent views. In addition, you will hike to a temple at Mesina at noon and you will join the nuns for the prayers at Punakha in the evening.

Day 4 : Punakha rest

Visit a huge fortress PunakhaDzong and amazing arts and crafts at the site. Walk to the suspension bridge. Camping and rafting at noon.

Day 5 : Punakha to Paro

This day we will retrace the same way back to Paro, via Dochula, Thimphu, and Chuzom. Moreover, you will be enjoying Bhutanese dress, shooting archery and a typical farmhouse for Bhutanese meal with local families. Also, you can experience the hot stone bath.

Day 6 : Tiger Nest Hike, taking footsteps of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

This day you will be hiking to ParoTaktsang, the Tiger’s Nest monastery that dates to 1692 which is a mystery place near the cave where Guru Padmasambhava – who introduced Buddhism to Bhutan – is regarded to have meditated for the months in the 18th century.

Day 7 : Departure

In the morning after breakfast, you will set off for your onward destination.
