What's this trip about?

Mera Peak Climbing summit Mera Peak at 6,476 metres (21,247 ft) is a mountain, in the Sagarmatha region of Nepal, classified as a trekking peak. It has been one of the popular destinations for peak climbing nowadays. The first successful ascent was made by Col. Jimmy Roberts and Sherpa Sen Tenzing on May 20, 1953. From the summit of Mera Peak, panaromic views of other Himalayan  peaks like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho. And other  can be seen easily. It is the more popular among 33 peaks of Nepal, being the highest peak. In fact it’s probably fair to say that the summits of Mera Peak is the highest point in Khumbu region of Nepal in the entire Himalaya. The peak is filled with scenery fields throughout the way and extremely stunning mountains can be seen during the trek. This trek is ideal for those who are physically fit and are seeking for real adventure. Traditional Sherpa culture and beliefs can be observed during the trek and we also get opportunity to see plenty of Rhododendrons and blue pines. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu and many other peaks that are above 8000 meter can be seen while on the trek. This trek is truly thrilling and can become unforgettable piece of memory and experience. There are acclimatization areas where one should consider for safe trekking. We acclimatize in some of the beautiful places in the district making the day meaningful. Then comes Mera Peak (6,461m/ 21,190 ft) which we ascend to the top & enjoy the moment of victory for a moment and return back.
