What's this trip about?

One of Nepal's most famous and preferred treks, the Annapurna base camp trek is short, easy yet more popular than other high-altitude treks, especially considering how rewarding it is in terms of scenic beauty. Also known as Annapurna Sanctuary Trek (ABC) for it flaunts the 55-kilometer long mountain ranges, protected by the largest conservation area in the country-Annapurna conservation area (7,629 sq. km.), the trek is very rich in vivid landscapes of luscious meadows beautified with its greenery and dense forests that offers close-up views of Annapurna mastiffs. The Annapurna base camp trek has to be the perfect combination of easy accessibility but one hell of an adventurous experience. You will be blessed with glorious views of Annapurna III (7,555 m), Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), Gangapurna (7,454 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), Singu Chuli (6,501 m), Annapurna I (8,091 m), Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Baraha Shikhar (7,647 m), Nilgiri South (6,839 m), Tukuche (6,920 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Manaslu (8,163 m) and other surrounding mountain peaks during the trek. Even though one has to trek up to a height of 4,130m (13549.87 ft), Altitude sickness is observed to occur very less because of the length of the Annapurna base camp trek and more than enough time for acclimatization. Therefore, one with moderate health conditions can complete this trek within Annapurna region with little to no difficulty. The 15-day long Annapurna base camp trek officially starts from ‘the city of lakes’ Pokhara. With a motive to reach the base of the absolutely majestic Annapurna, the trekkers will travel through beautiful villages and lands with terrace farming, Amazing waterfalls, mountain vistas, and gorgeous dense rhododendron forests slog with the experience of a diverse culture of various ethnic groups. So if you're looking for a trek that is a complete package of cultural diversity’s exploration of traditional villages, the experience of mother nature’s beauty at its finest in a very short duration is also not that risky in health aspect, and if you wish to take your little one with you, then Annapurna base camp trek should be your first choice.

For nights in cities, we use standard/superior standard/deluxe rooms whereas, during the trek, we use lodges/tea houses/guesthouses/home stay for our clients, and whatever is available and accessible. We also arrange sleeping bags for our clients, on their request. ARE WE SURE TO GET ROOM WHILE TREKKING? We contact the lodge/guesthouse owner for reservation of the room before trekking on a particular day. On other days, porters reach the destination on advance and book the rooms for you. But there are always going to be exceptions but even in those cases, we may have to be flexible about very basic sleeping arrangements. We always try to make sure that we have everything well arranged.
