What's this trip about?

Ancient Buddhist culture and Himalayan nature’s exploration together is what makes the Nar Phu valley trek one of a kind. You experience natural wilderness through trails that are yet to be well explored. It is your cup of tea if you want to experience the remote lifestyle of Nepal peacefully. This trek of 16 days begins from the chaotically beautiful capital of Nepal, Kathmandu, and ascends for the small valley between Annapurna and Manaslu region, Nar Phu, near Chame through Jagat. It begins by exploring Kathmandu which is full of surprises, including a visit to seven of the UNESCO world heritage sites and enjoying the night in city lights with a hint of cultural and traditional differences, ancient monuments, temples, etc. Kathmandu is the perfect combination of modern technology and cultural values. Through scenic and famous trails of Annapurna before reaching Koto, the actual trek to Nar Phu valley starts from Jagat. Followed by the rugged path that leads you to Manang. The next muse of the trek is the panoramic view of Annapurna mastiffs, and the breathtaking view of Himlung Himal, Gangapurna, and Tilicho peaks. Then trek takes you to Ngawal-thepopular Annapurna circuitstop. Before arriving Muktinath trail leads trekkers to the west, towards Thorag La pass, to the next destination of the trek, Jomsom. After Jomsom, a drive takes you to the ‘city of lakes’ Pokhara. The trek ends in Pokhara, with its scenic beauty of lakes, mountains, and warm atmosphere. Along with the exploration of medieval Tibetan culture, the Nar Phu valley trek( trek to classical Nar, and Phu valley) gets you closer to the magnificent Annapurna. The trek offers a view of high peaks and passes, forests, unique rock formations, yaks and horses, and narrow canyons. While exploring high ancient villages, grazing, and pasteurizing settlement areas,Gompasone becomes familiar with the magnificent Annapurna mastiff. It’s good to be cautious before aiming for the Nar Phu trek, for it is quite adventurous and could be fairly challenging to anyone, as it includes trekking through the highest of altitudes. those with respiratory health issues shouldn't aim for the Nar Phu valley trek. Small children and old people shouldn’t aim for this trek, for they might suffer from altitude sickness. The Nar Phu valley trek is a perfect blend of adventure, cultural exploration, and experiencing scenic beauty through unexplored parts of the Annapurna region. If it sounds like a part of your bucket list, then give it a go and have the experience of a lifetime traversing through a beautiful Tibetan village with diverse culture, food, and settlements.

,WHAT IS THE OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION LIKE? For nights in cities, we use standard/superior standard/deluxe rooms whereas, during the trek, we use lodges/tea houses/guesthouses/home stay for our clients, and whatever is available and accessible. We also arrange sleeping bags for our clients, on their request. ARE WE SURE TO GET ROOM WHILE TREKKING? We contact the lodge/guesthouse owner for reservation of the room before trekking on a particular day. On other days, porters reach the destination on advance and book the rooms for you. But there are always going to be exceptions but even in those cases, we may have to be flexible about very basic sleeping arrangements. We always try to make sure that we have everything well arranged.
